When you walk on Saturday, October 21st, it is not just about raising awareness in our community about breast cancer - it s actually much more than that... By rallying a team, you are helping a mother, daughter, sister, or even neighbor receive vital support through the programs of The Pink Ribbon Place, a program of Riverside Community Health Foundation. So we want to help you be an awesome team captain! This guide was designed to help you make your team spectacular by recruiting more team members, raising more money, and having a lot of fun along the way! Mayor Rusty Bailey getting dunked! Why Building Your Team Matters Pink on Parade operates on the the more, the merrier principle, which means that we encourage you to invite as many people as possible to join in on the fun! Bigger teams are not just more fun, but they also help you fundraise more effectively. When you have more team members, you can set your team fundraising goals higher, because everyone is working towards the same goal. About The Pink Ribbon Place Our resource center was designed to be warm and inviting the complete opposite of the sterile medical environments those who seek services from us spend so much time in. We provide services and products at absolutely no cost, including: support groups, in both English and Spanish individual and family counseling survivor mentorship for the newly diagnosed health and wellness programs products such as wigs, bras & camisoles 2016 s Honorary Chair, Robin Sinkhorn and husband. 4 HOW TO GET STARTED Register Yourself and Create a Team Online Go to Select your registration type and complete the registration form In the Giving section, select Create a fundraiser on your own Proceed through the normal registration process Manage/Edit Crowdrise Fundraising Page Log into myevents.active.com Locate your registration and click View your [insert participant s name] s Individual Fundraiser Campaign page ONLINE REGISTRATION Includes official t-shirt.
