3 UMPIRING Improving Efficiency Match Day Paperwork Sports TG App WAFC to supply each venue with an ipad with the following apps downloaded: Match Day Paperwork Iscanner Mail No. 1 Umpire will be responsible: for equipment (ipad, comms system) completing paperwork (Training Tues) Distributing Report by Umpire Select MDP (Match Day Paperwork) App Login using your Sports TG passport to access app

App Store/ Google Play For iphone Open the App Store app Search for Match Day Paperwork Select Get to download For Android Open the Google Play app Search for Match Day Paperwork Select the app then click Install 3. Login to the App Login To The App You can login to the MDP app with your Passport account. Please note the following: For match officials: Your Passport account must match the address that you registered with in the current season.

Search Feature The match closest to the current date should appear, if this is not the right match, navigate through the date filter at the top of the screen to find it. 7 UMPIRING Improving Efficiency 10. Match Forms Selection Once you have found the correct match, simply select it and you should see a list of tasks for you to complete for this match 11. Complete the Form Umpires Must complete the WAFL Match Report Form 12. paper copies WAFL League Claremont v West Perth Date/ Time: Sat March 14 2:00pm Venue: Claremont Oval WAFL Match Report Report Form 1 NOI Form 1 Answer all questions and submit If there is any Reports the umpire will need to complete the paper copy of the Report and distribute to WAFL Clubs as per normal. You are then required to complete a separate form for each Report. Details are the same as the paper form. There is still a requirement to submit the paper scorecards and any Reports or NOI s and copies of the teamsheets. The information can be scanned into one match document using iscanner and ed to waflreports@wafc.com.au

8 UMPIRING Improving Efficiency 13. Awarding Votes Select the award you need to enter votes for, then select how many votes you need to give. WAFL awards 3,2,1 votes. 14. Allocating Votes to players Select a player to give the votes to from the list of players selected for this match. Note: you can switch between teams by selecting the team names from the top of the screen. Note: If a player received votes that is not appearing in this list, it probably. means they were not selected for the match. If you click the player not in list? button at the bottom of the screen you can select from a list of all other registered club players Repeat this step for all votes and you will see a screen like the one shown on the next slide.

9 UMPIRING Improving Efficiency 15. Submit Votes Once done, click 'Submit' and you will need to confirm your votes. 16. Selecting Votes Click yes to confirm. Note: Once confirmed, you cannot change your votes selections. The only way to do this is through the league. The green tick indicates that this task is now completed. 13 Betting Environment Increase in bookmakers offering LIVE odds, which means bigger integrity risks Asia has a HUGE gambling industry that numbers in the trillions of dollars. Seeing an increase in Asian betting markets offering odds on Australian sports. Organised Crime target sports with corruptible vulnerability (i.e. drug issues, gambling markets, etc.) There is possibility of grooming players and officials at State League Level.

14 AFL Gambling Regulations DO NOT bet on any football contingencies within the State League that you play in. DO NOT get someone to place a bet on your behalf DO NOT benefit financially from a bet placed on the State League that you play in DO NOT allow others to use your betting account DO NOT provide inside information to anyone if there is a chance it could be used for betting purposes Report any suspicious behaviour to the State League HQ or Deloitte These regulations apply to all Football Officials of a State League Club, including players, coaches, and football department officials (i.e. medical staff, etc.)

16 WAFL Integrity Match Fixing AND CORRUPTION POLICY WAFL Partner Clubs Non-WAFL Partner Clubs If the club you play for is aligned with an AFL Club, these regulations also apply to betting on AFL matches. If the club you play for is not aligned to an AFL Club or you are an umpire, these regulations only apply to the State League that you play/ umpire in.

20 WAFL ANTI GAMBLING AND CORRUPTION POLICY The obligations imposed upon a WAFL Player under this regulation 10.3 are in addition to the obligations of a WAFL Player under the standard playing contract A person must not, directly or indirectly, participate or engage in or assist any other person, corporation or entity to engage in the following conduct: a) Bet, gamble or wager on any aspect of any Match or on any event connection with any Match ( Event ); b) Induce or encourage any other person, corporation or entity to bet, gamble or wager on any aspect of any Match or on any Event; c) Contrive or attempt to contrive the result of a Match in exchange for any bribe, benefit or reward; d) Disclose or provide any information about the Teams playing in any Match (including the actual or likely composition of the Team, Players injuries, the form of Players and tactics) unless such information is already in the public domain or given in a bona fide media interview; e) Registered WAFL players of the East Perth and Peel Thunder FC are not permitted to bet on either WAFL or AFL matches.

21 Sanction: Any person, who does not fully and strictly comply with the provisions of this Rule, shall be dealt with in such manner as the Commission or WAFL Manager in their absolute discretion think fit and without limiting their power they may: a) Impose a monetary sanction; and/or; b) Prohibit a person from competing in or attending the WAFL competition for any period of time; and/or c) Require a person to attend counselling or any course in relation to responsible gambling.
