At end of meas. 16, man faces LOD and the lady on his R, while lady faces RLOD and him to take butterfly position, M & W s palms together, arms extended sideways STEP DRAW; STEP DRAW (IN); STEP DRAW; STEP DRAW (OUT); M & W step sideways twd COH on ct. 1. They draw their following ft to lead ft (heel to instep), cts 2 & 3 (there should be a slight sideward bend at the waist, M & W lead hands high, while each is looking at the drawing ft and keeping following hands low; repeat Meas 17; repeat step-draws away from COH, with natural change of hands held high & low REPEAT MEAS GRAND RIGHT & LEFT -Still facing partners, take R hands and begin a grand right & left; everyone shouts B while taking 1 st rt. hand, I on taking left hands, then N with rt. hand and G on taking left hands SWING When meeting the 5 th lady, hug her (or swing) shouting OOOOOH! BLACK AND WHITE RAG 92 '07 Varsouvienne Position Footwork - Same Music - Sunny Hills AC10350 or Black & White Rag PART A: 1-4: L Pt, front, side, back, step, step (vine right); R Pt front, side, back, step, step (vine Left); (as in California Schottische) 5-8: Walk, 2, turn R, 2,3; Back, 2, turn L, 2,3; 9-16: Repeat measures 1-8, finish in skaters position. PART B: 17-20: L Cross, step, step; R Cross, step, step; L Cross, step, step; R Cross step, step; (Cross L over R in front and diagonally left do a quick step, step in place etc. Progress on the cross step) 21-24: Buzz L, 2,3,4; Buzz R, 2,3,4; (In skaters position, step side on left, keeping weight on L foot and pushing with R. do four buzz around steps. Release hand hold and do four solo buzz steps to the R, keeping weight on R foot and pushing with L) Resume skaters position : Repeat measures After solo buzz step return to Varsouvienne position. Repeat from start. ENDING: Repeat 1-4, point, front, side, back, step; Point, front, side. Lady turn and bow. 14
