11 Friday Night Under Light Dates for 2018 Our next Friday Night Under Lights will take place this Friday 24 th November at 9 th February Eastleigh RFC / Aldershot & Fleet RFC 23 rd February Millbrook RFC / Basingstoke 16 th March Venue TBC Timing for the evening: Arrival - any time after 1800 Briefing 1845 Games commencing at about 1915 Pint & Food: On completion complementary food and a beer from Host club & Hampshire RFU will be provided for all players Referees / Medical: Games will be refereed by the England Rugby Development team and a qualified first aider / physio will be in attendance.

15 Good Club Governance For Information: Governance has become an increasingly important issue that rugby union clubs have to address. This is due to examples of compliance requirements (legal & insurance), poor management, financial failure, and to maximise the opportunity of public funding resulting in a need for better sports administrative structures. Guidance and information on good club governance for your club is readily available at and includes health checks, guides, and templates. A good starting point is to complete the RFU Good Club Governance Health Check.

17 NatWest RugbyForce 2018 weekend Dates: Saturday 23 rd and Sunday 24 th June 2018 Register by 4 th February 2018 Support packages of 750 awarded to 270 clubs who are selected to attend one of the NEW NatWest RugbyForce workshops. The workshop will concentrate on running a community open day to help raise awareness of your club locally and aid player and volunteer recruitment alongside videos and case studies of previous successful projects. 500 of the grant will be towards the DIY weekend with 250 towards your open day. In a new addition for 2018, six clubs will have the opportunity to receive a large grant of 5,000 and a support package including personalised recommendations from experts covering one of the following:
