There is no application form. Applicants for oyster boat, shrimp boat and purse seine licenses must include the registered vessel name or state registration number. Before selling a live bait dealer license the person's boat, truck, or place of business must be inspected. Florida commercial licenses show the $2 SPL boat license. This would be $1 if only one person is aboard the boat. Licenses may be purchased at Marine Resources Division offices at Dauphin Island, Bayou La Batre and Gulf Shores. 1

16 IMPORTANT NOTES Alabama All Alabama commercial licenses are valid from October 1 through September 3 of consecutive years, and may be purchased at any time between those dates. All Alabama commercial fishing license fees listed in Ta bl es 1-4 are per vessel unless othenvise noted. Florida All Florida commercial licenses are valid from July 1 throughjune3 of consecutive years, and may be purchased at any time between those dates. All Florida resident/nonresident saltwater products license fees will double on October 1, The $25 resident or $1 nonresident Individual Saltwater Products License allows any individual to work in any fishery on any vessel in Florida waters. (Purse seines require an additional license.) The $5 resident or $2 nonresident V ~ssel Saltwater Products License allows any vessel (including any number of crew members) to work in any fishery in Florida waters. (Purse seines require an additional license.) Mississippi Texas All Mississippi commercial licenses are valid from May 1 through April 3 of consecutive years, and must be purchased between January 1 and April 3 of each calendar year. All Mississippi commercial fishing license fees listed in Tables 1-4 are per vessel unless othenvise noted. Commercial oyster dredge licenses must be purchased during the month of August.
