3 THE TOURNAMENT 4-7 April - Men s Amateur Classic & Women s Rene Erichsen Salver Each state will be selecting its leading female and two male players to compete as state representatives in the respective 72 Hole Championship. For the Corporate Event on 3 April, your team of 3 players will be grouped with one of the invited top ranked Australian Amateurs i.e. future professional champions Some well known past Amateur winners of the Golf SA Classic include: Brett Ogle ( 85), Peter O Malley ( 86), Stuart Appleby ( 92), Greg Chalmers ( 94), Brett Rumford ( 96). Rene Erichsen Salver past Champions include: Jane Crafter ( 73, 75, 77-79), Anne- Marie Knight ( 94), Mianne Bagger ( 01) and Stephanie Na ( 06). ABOUT GOLF SA Golf South Australia Incorporated (Golf SA) is the State Sporting Organisation that represents the sport of amateur golf in South Australia. Golf SA was formed in 2008 after the merger of the South Australian Golf Association Inc (SAGA) and Women s Golf South Australia Inc (WGSA).
