Notify the starter of any cancellations at least 30 minutes prior to hit-off time. Players to report to the starter at least 15 minutes prior to hit-off time. Late entries play at the end of handicap division on medal rounds, otherwise at the end of the field for all other competitions. June, July, August am hit-off. All other months 8.30 am hit-off. I ETIQUETTE OF GOLF No-one should move or talk, stand close behind the ball or the hole when a player is addressing the ball or making a stroke. The player who has the honour should be allowed to play before her opponent or fellow competitor tees her ball. No player shall play until the group in front is out of range. In the interests of all, players should play without delay. A player who has incurred a penalty should indicate the fact to her opponent or marker as soon as possible. Players while searching for a ball should allow other matches coining up to pass. They should signal to the players following them to pass and having given the signal should not continue their play until those players have passed and are out of range. Having played out of a bunker, a player should carefully fill up all holes made by her therein. A player should ensure that any turf cut or displaced by her is replaced by her at once and pressed down, and that on the putting green any mark made by her is obliterated as far as possible after the players have holed out. When the result of a hole has been determined, players should immediately leave the putting green and should riot replay their putts or practice putting. Do not take buggies or drop clubs on the green. Competition players have precedence over social players at all times. Subject to conditions governing competition play, two ball have precedence over three ball and four ball groups. Players must not practise shots from mown fairways or to any green not allotted for that purpose. Golf carts - must give a 5 metre clearance of greens.

5 DRESS REQUIREMENT (Attompetition players) The standard of dress required on the course is largely left to the good taste of the players, with the expectation that suitable and appropriate golfing attire will be worn. GENERAL BEHAVIOUR Members should avoid unnecessary shouting on the course. Bad language will not be tolerated. Members are requested to acquaint themselves with the "Rules of Golf', copies of which may be obtained from the Club Professional when available. Regular attention should be given to local rules posted on the notice board. These local rules will take precedence over rules shown on score cards when they are at variance. THE MATCH COMMITTEE SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:- I. The running of all club competitions. 2. Establishing grades for Club competitions. 3. Establishing conditions of entry and conditions of play for all competitions. GENERAL CONDITIONS The Match Committee reserves the right to change, alter any date, cancel, or vary any competition. Any protest in relation to a competition or match shall be delivered in writing to the secretary immediately after completion of competition or match. Such protest shall be dealt with by the Match Committee as soon as possible. USE OF MOBILE PHONES The audible emission &10r unauthorised use of a mobile phone on a golf course and durlng play is a serious breach of etiquette. Mobile phones should be turned off whilst on the golf course.
