MONTHLY MEDAL: A Monthly Medal will be played for and will be awarded for the best nett score of the day covering all grades A, B and C. The winner of each Monthly Medal will enter the final to decide the Medal of Medals winner. In the event of a tie, countback conditions will apply for all rounds to decide a monthly medal winner. Tied players will play off in the final. MEDAL: The Medal is awarded for the best aggregate of nett rounds over three of the stipulated six rounds, each to be played over 18 holes. FREIDA HODSGSON TROPHY: This trophy is awarded for the best aggregate of Stableford points over three of the stipulated five rounds. In the event of a tie, a further Stableford round will be played until a decision is reached. *CHAMPIONSHIPS: The Championships will be played over 72 holes of 18 hole stroke play on four consecutive Sundays but which the best three rounds, out of four, will be counted. Grades for

2 the Championships will be divided evenly across all grades. In the event of a tie there will be a three hole play off. If the scores still remain tied then a sudden death play off starting on the 1 st hole will determine the winner. 54 HOLE NETT TROPHY: A trophy will be awarded to the player with the lowest 54 hole nett score achieved over the three rounds of the Championships. FOURSOMES CHAMPIONSHIP: This Championship will be played over 1 round of 18 holes. 4BBB CHAMPIONSHIP: This Championship will be played over 1 round of 18 holes. CONNIE EATON MEMORIAL TROPHY: This trophy is awarded to the winner of a handicap matchplay competition with all grades eligible. Names on board prior to start of event to allow draw to be done. All matches to be played on specified day or be completed by set date. JILL COX MEMORIAL: All nett scores each month will be averaged April to October. Players must have at least one score per month. The aggregate of the best four monthly nett scores will determine the winner. The main aim of this trophy is to find the player who attends golf on a regular basis and plays the most consistent game of golf to her handicap. ECLECTIC: This trophy is awarded by the Hay Jewellers for the lowest eclectic nett score for the season in Sunday competition covering all grades. In the event of a tie, the Club will provide additional trophies. The result will be arrived at by deducting half of the players handicap at the start of play on the final day of competition from the gross score at the completion of the competition. HANDICAP REDUCTION: A trophy will be awarded to the player with the most reduced handicap for the season. NEAREST THE PIN: A golf ball will be awarded each playing day for the nearest the pin on a stipulated hole. The ball must be within one club-length of the raked surface. Donations of golf balls for this event are always appreciated. PROGRAMME: The Match Committee reserves the right to make such alterations as are necessary. CONSISTENCY TROPHY: A trophy will be awarded to the player gaining the most points over the season with separate trophies for Sunday and Wednesday competitions. Three points will be awarded for attendance, four points for ball winners, five points for runner-up and six points for the winner. Players beaten on a countback will each receive the same points. Attendance points will be awarded to players representing the Club at open tournaments on Club competition days. GIBBS RURAL SERVICES TROPHY. A trophy will be awarded for the aggregate score of the best eight rounds of stableford played during the year.
