4 5th TYGA North Carolina Middle School Championship Badin Inn Golf Resort and Club Badin, NC Led by a solid leader in Robert Register, Turrentine Middle School of Burlington walked away with the 5th NC Middle School Championship. Register lead his team to a second day eight over par-292 to win the team championship by twenty-two shots over St. Stephens Lutheran School of Hickory. Adding to the team s outstanding round were Luke Haithcock and Jefferson Ellington. Also helping Turrentine to the title were, Griffith Chandler and Robert Mackintosh. First round boy s leader, Billy Herring of Cape Fear Christian School won the boy s individual title by five shots over Cyrus Stewart of Daniels Middle School. Kayla Sciupider of Mountain Community School in Etowah took the girl s title with a two day total of 157.
