2 About Our Cause The Mariano Rivera Foundation George Steinbrenner said if you do something good for some person and more than two people know about it you and the other person then you didn t do it for the right reason. Mariano Rivera has followed Mr. Steinbrenner s example and founded the Mariano Rivera Foundation. The Mariano Rivera Foundation, while not anonymous, is meant to be discreet. Specifically, the Mariano Rivera Foundation currently supports at least two computer houses in underprivi leged communities in Mariano s native Panama, has restored Refugio de Esperanza (The Refuge of Hope), a Christian church in New Rochelle, New York and has created a community center in New Rochelle, New York, as well. There are a number of additional local benevolences the Mariano Rivera Foundation supports which are neither listed in any publication, nor on the foundation s website. It is mission of the Mariano Rivera Foundation to give, but give discreetly.

Proceed on Pine Road, passing through part of the Golf Course, down a hill to the entrance on the right side. From New Jersey: Holland Tunnel/George Washington Bridge. Proceed north on West Side Drive to Saw Mill Parkway north. Proceed as from New York City. OR Garden State Parkway to NY State Thruway to Tappan Zee Bridge. Take the first exit off the bridge, Route 9 North - Broadway. Make a right onto Route 9 and proceed for approximately 4 miles. At the light, turn right onto Scarborough Road (This turn is past Phelps Memorial Hospital) Go straight on Scarborough Road (the road bears right at one point ) until it becomes Pine Road. Follow Pine Road across a narrow bridge and up a hill to the entrance of the Club on the left. From Connecticut: New England Thruway (I-95) or Merritt Parkway to Cross Westchester Expressway (Rte. 287) West. Take Exit 3 - Sprain Brook Parkway North to the Taconic Parkway North. Take left at light (Anderson Hill Road). Century entrance will be on your right, after you cross highway on an overpass (about 1/4 mile). From New Jersey: Take Tappan Zee Bridge to Exit 8. Proceed to Route 287 East (Cross Westchester Expressway) towards New England. Continue on 287 to Exit 8E (Westchester Avenue). Take Westchester Avenue Exit up ramp. Proceed to second expressway overpass. Take left on overpass which will put you on Anderson Hill Road. Century entrance will be on your left at the bottom of the hill (about 1 mile). If you cross the expressway on an overpass, you have gone too far. From Route 95: Exit 287 West from either direction to exit 9 Hutchinson River Parkway. Immediately cross over to right lane and turn right at first right, Kenilworth Ave. Go to end. Turn left on Purchase St. Rt Turn left at third traffic light, Anderson Hill Rd. Club is on right approximately 1 mile. From George Washington Bridge: Take to Major Deegan North. Just past Yonkers Raceway take Exit 4 to Cross County Parkway East and follow signs to Hutchinson River Parkway North. Take Hutchinson River Parkway to Exit 27 (Route Purchase Street). At the traffic light make a left (onto Purchase Street) follow to Anderson Hill Road. Take left at light (Anderson Hill Road). Century entrance will be on your right, after you cross highway on an overpass (about 1/4 mile). From Connecticut: Take Merritt Parkway to King Street Exit. At stop sign take right onto King Street and proceed to first light (Anderson Hill Road). Take left at light. Continue on Anderson Hill Road past Pepsico Headquarters. After you cross Purchase Street at light, you will cross a major expressway on an overpass. Century entrance will be on your right after the overpass. From Westchester Via Route 684: Take Route 684 to Exit 2 (Westchester Airport). At top of Exit Ramp take left over highway bridge. Take right at stop light. Go about 1/2 mile and take left onto Route 120 (Purchase Street). This left is just before you would otherwise go over a bridge. Follow Route 120 to first light. Take right at light (Anderson Hill Road). Century entrance will be about 1 mile on your right.
