3 2018 events April Barristers Benefit Ball This event benefits Metro Volunteer Lawyers and will be held on Saturday, April 21 at EXDO Event Center. Approximately 500 attendees from the legal community. page 2 June Spring Swearing In Ceremony This event will be held June 4th at the Boettcher Concert Hall. Approximately 300 new members who recently passed the Bar Exam will be sworn-in in a special session of the Supreme Court. page 3 DBA Golf Tournament This is a fun event with over 120 golfers participating. The tournament will be held on June 15 at Wellshire Golf Course. page 4 DBA Awards Ceremony and Reception This is a semi-formal event which approximately 100 Denver Bar Association members and guests attend, and the annual award winners are presented with their honors. page 5 October Docket Art Reception A reception hosted by the Docket on October 18th to recognize the winners of the annual Denver Lawyers Arts Contest. Approximately 75 attendees are anticipated. page 6

4 Fall Swearing In Ceremony This event will be held in late October at the Boettcher Concert Hall. Approximately 800 new members who recently passed the Bar Exam will be sworn-in in a special session of the Supreme Court. page 6 December CBA Solo Small Firm Holiday Party Networking lunch reception with a presentation by the chair and a door prize drawing. 13 Dan Shifrin, Phantom docket art contest party Event The Denver Lawyers Arts Contest is an annual competition, sponsored by the Docket, among Denver lawyers engaged in the creative arts. A reception will be hosted on October 18th to recognize the winners of the competition, who have the opportunity to exhibit their work, and celebrate creative artists in the legal profession. Approximately 75 attendees are anticipated.
