GENERAL INFORMATION Free program for contest tracks, Free Daily Racing Form. $20 voucher to The Brew Brothers. Due to the size of the areas used for the handicapping tournament, it may be necessary for participants to share tables. Presque Isle Downs employees and employees of Sportech are ineligible to participate. Employees and officers of the National Thoroughbred Racing Association or Daily Racing Form are not eligible to qualify for the DRF/NTRA Handicapping Championship, but may participate in this contest for the 2nd, 3rd & 4th prizes only, with no additional compensation if unable to participate in the DRF/NTRA Handicapping Championship contest in Trainers and Owners with any interest in a horse entered in any of the races designated as part of the contest will be ineligible to wager on such races. ENTRIES Contestants must be at least 21 years old. Entry fee will be $50 per person (non-refundable). $100 to purchase player Account Wagering card. There will be a limit of 100 total entries. No maximum per person (if available).

2 Walk-in entries will be accepted through September 3, 2016 by 10:00 p.m. (ET) On Sunday, September 4, if space is available, walk-in entries will be accepted beginning at 10:00 a.m.(et) on trackside mainline account wagering window. Entries for this contest will not be taken after 5:00p.m. (ET) on September 4, Players must place all wagers personally. No person shall directly or indirectly act as an intermediary, transmitter or agent in placing wagers for the player. ATTENTION NHC TOUR MEMBERS: It is the NHC Tour Member s responsibility to notify Presque Isle Downs that he or she is a member of the tour. The official entry form provides space for your NHC Tour pin number. PLEASE NOTE: In order to compete for the entry to the DRF/NTRA National Handicapping Challenge presented by Racetrack Television Network, Sovereign Stable and Treasure Island the contestant must be a registered member of the 2016 NHC Tour prior to the beginning of the contest. The annual fee for the NHC Tour is $50, and must be paid directly to the NHC Tour. For more information, please visit www. nhctour.com or call the NTRA at If the contestant is not a member of the tour, he or she may participate for prize money only, and must sign a waiver prior to the beginning of the contest. The membership is valid for the calendar year. THE CONTEST The contest will consist of Live wagering on the designated (2) racetracks. Minimum wager amounts are $10 per pool wagered per race wagered. Must make a minimum of 5 wagers, 3 of which MUST be on Presque Isle Downs. No maximum wager amounts. Available pools for wagering are: Win, Place, Show, Exacta & Trifecta. The contestant with the most money in their account at the end of the performances is the winner. No additional deposits can be made into your account. One seat to the 2017 National Handicapping Championship will be awarded in this Tournament to the eligible recipient. No NHC Tour points will be awarded. RACETRACKS All wagers must be made only on these (2) tracks: Presque Isle Downs (Must make at least (3) wagers on this track) Mountaineer Park WAGERING INFORMATION/PROCEDURE Contestants will be assigned an encoded identification card. Official standings are based on Account balances only. Please keep your contest mutuel ticket receipts from teller windows until the final standings have been declared official.

3 Once you leave the Mutuel Window, no changes in your selection may be made. Contestants are responsible for checking the accuracy of their wagers BEFORE leaving the window. Discrepancies should be corrected immediately. PLACING WAGERS Self-Bet Machine Wagering: Swipe your Account wagering card. The screen will say Enter PIN Number. Select Place Bets. Re-enter your Account Wagering card. Place your wagers. Select Finish on Wagering screen. Select Finish on ensuing screen. Wagers cannot be cancelled once finalized. Teller Window Wagering: Insert your Account wagering card, leave in while wagering. You will then insert your PIN slip. Place your wagers, wagering receipts will print out verifying your wagers. Remove your Account wagering card when done wagering. Please keep the wagering receipts for your records. Wagers cannot be changed or cancelled after leaving the window. TOTE FAILURE In the event of a tote failure, power outage or other disrupting event, before (3) of the contest races are declared Official, the contest will be re-scheduled. If after, the current balances will be used to determine the outcome. TIEBREAKERS In the event of a tie for one of the top three finalists, the following will determine which contestant will go to the DRF/NTRA National Handicapping Championship and the 2nd and 3rd place finishers: The highest total pari-mutuel return in any one race. The second highest pari-mutuel return in any one race. The third highest pari-mutuel return in any one race. Continue with the fourth highest, fifth, sixth, etc to the highest pari-mutuel return.

4 DRF/NTRA QUALIFYING The top (1) finisher who is a member of the NHC Tour and has not already qualified for the DRF/NTRA National Championship twice this year shall win a berth to the DRF/NTRA National Handicapping Championship presented by Racetrack Television Network, Sovereign Stable and Treasure Island in Las Vegas, in January 2017 (including $500 travel voucher and hotel ). If they cannot accept the trip to Las Vegas, for any reason, the 2nd-place finisher shall be the replacement and so forth, until the berth is filled. The top finisher will not be entitled to any further compensation if unable to compete in the DRF/NTRA National Handicapping Championship. Please see the information regarding joining the NHC Tour in the section above titled Entries. A player may qualify to the NHC twice, but only once in any single NHC qualifying tournament. A player that qualifies via an onsite or online tournament is not eligible to qualify a second time via his or her standing on the NHC Tour Leader Board. An individual who wins an NHC seat through Tour points may earn a second seat through a Last Chance tournament. A participant who qualifies for the NHC accepts his or her seat(s) to the NHC at the time the qualifier is declared official, and he or she may not trade those seats for another seat (and prize) should they qualify to the NHC three or more times over the course of the Tour season. Should a player qualify a second time for the NHC, and should he or she have already received travel and hotel awards for the first qualification, the second qualification will earn a complimentary hotel upgrade and resort fee credit for four ($) nights in lieu of additional travel and hotel awards. PRIZE DISTRIBUTION Prizes will be distributed after verification of the results by our Sportech Tote representative and the Tournament Director. The Tournament Director maintains final say over any and all discrepancies. Should technical difficulties occur additional time may be required. 1st Place: 10% of Entry Fee money Entry into DRF/NTRA National Handicapping Championship in Las Vegas January 2017, $500 Travel voucher, Hotel room 2nd Place: 6% of Entry Fee money and $ Gift Card 3rd Place: 4% of Entry Fee money and $50.00 Gift Card 4th Place: 1% of Entry Fee money After the contest is declared Official, any account balance is the property of the contestant and may be withdrawn. Any contestant that withdraws money before the contest is declared Official will be disqualified!
