32 Summary PainTrace is easy to use but some practice helpful initially Readings altered by: Deviation of neck from straight position Length of hair coat Amount of contact gel and pressure State of mind of patient (anxious) Some readings hard to explain.

33 Summary Hoof temperature findings consistent with previous studies Lateral and medial quarters may often have larger temperature gradient than toe Individual hooves may have significantly cooler (or warmer) temperatures than rest Lack of temperature gradient?? More study is needed
