2 ANTI-POACHING DEMONSTRATION BICYCLE RIDE BIRDWATCHING Together with the anti-poaching unit rangers you are encouraged to try and evade the sniffer dogs. Run, jump, twist, turn and find somewhere to hide within the bush and see if our bloodhounds can seek you out. Not only this is great fun for you, but you will also contribute in keeping the skills of the dogs in sharp shape. The silence and off-road abilities of our top-ofthe-range mountain bikes will allow you to get very close to big game. Mountain biking offers an exciting and exhilarating way to view the bush. The mere diversity of the avifauna over these countries guarantees the best ornithological tours in the continent. Africa has become a hub for both professional and amateur birders looking for a place to challenge their birding skills and this has brought to an increase in bird-watchers from all over the world converging here to identify the various species.

4 FISHING SAFARI FROM CROP TO CUP GAME DRIVE The Upper Zambezi River in and around Victoria Falls offers professional and casual fishing possibilities to clients who are on holiday in the area. There are some fantastic fishing opportunities in the channels, small rapids and pools that this part of the river offers. Big game and birdlife sightings are an additional bonus and a regular feature on our day trips. We advise you to bring your camera and be prepared! We cater for all types of fishing, conventional and fly. If you love coffee then you re in the right country! Rwanda has some seriously good beans and they don t have to travel far to find their way into your cup which means they re about as fresh as they can get! This coffee plantation is located on an island on Lake Kivu. If the season is right you can even see the whole process of how coffee is picked, washed and dried and getting ready for export. Rwanda s coffee is regarded as having among the very best qualities in the world and is a speciality coffee at many coffee shops and chains, including Starbucks & Java House. A game drive is the highlight of any African safari vacation. You ll see magnificent local wildlife that may include lions, rhinos, elephants and more. 5 GORILLA TREKKING HORSEBACK RIDE KIGALI GENOCIDE MEMORIAL To do a Gorilla trek is a life changing experience but is important to be well prepared in order to enjoy the trek to the fullest. Approximately 800 Mountain Gorillas (or Highland Gorilla) exist in the world today, living in Rwanda, DRC & Uganda. In DRC & Rwanda the Gorillas live in the same ecosystem/area; in western Uganda they are found in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. In Rwanda we have ten resident Gorilla families that are open to visits. Each visit is done once per day and the duration is limited to one hour due to conservation considerations and to minimise impact on their day-to-day life. The total duration of a trek can vary between 3 and 9 hours. Make sure to wear good hiking gear - you will be trekking in a rainforest with lots of vegetation, undergrowth, nettles and normally rather muddy terrain. You will mainly walk where there are no paths apart from the occasional buffalo or elephant trail, so better be ready! Enjoy a horseback ride through the African Bush, you can enjoy seeing some of Africa s wildlife while on the back of a horse. The Kigali Genocide Memorial is the final resting place for more than 250,000 victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. It honours the memory of the more than one million Rwandans killed in 1994 through education and peace building the museum honours. In 1999, the City of Kigali provided land where a place of remembrance could be built and where victims of the genocide against the Tutsi could receive a dignified burial. Construction of the Kigali Genocide Memorial began in the same year and the process of burying victims began in 2001.

6 LIONS TRACKS LIVINGSTONE ISLAND LOCAL COMMUNITIES For the protection and conservation of these threatened species of extinction some lions have been fitted with radio collars. You will accompany one of the specialised lion trackers as he searches for their signal. When a pride is found, you can help the ranger to identify them. Visit Livingstone Island and swim to the edge of Victoria Falls. Sit in Devils Pool, which is a natural rock pool on a ledge right at the edge of Victoria Falls. The view from the edge is totally exhilarating as you feel the force of the Zambezi flowing past you and crashing down over the precipice for a hundred meter drop. Over 500 thousands litres of water a minute cascade over the almost 2km wide falls, causing a deafening and spectacular explosion of spray which can be seen 30 miles away. This is why it is locally known as Mosi-oa- Tunya, or The Smoke that Thunders. Africa offers a rich variety of cultural experiences with plenty of involvement with local communities whether it is a village, a school, a slum, a church or a hospital. You will get the opportunity to learn about Masai, Samburu and other communities, to take part in activities and live strong emotions within new cultures.

7 MICROLIGHT FLIGHT MOKORO EXCURSION PARAGLIDING Experience a once in a lifetime Victoria Falls Microlight Flight. The Mokoro is a common type of canoe used to get around in the shallow waters of the Okavango Delta. The oarsman stands in the stern and pushes it with the pole. Traditionally Mokoros are made from dug out trunks of a large straight trees, like ebony, and kigelia but today, for conservation purposes, they are more commonly made from fiber-glass. This vessel allows you to experience the delta in stealth and tranquillity. Allowing you to get close to birds and other animals. Overcoming the savannah transported by the wind gives extraordinary and unique emotions. 8 RHINO SEARCH GAME DRIVE STEAM TRAIN DINNER SUNSET CRUISE Go in search of the highly endangered rhinos on a specialized safari vehicle. The sheer magnitude of these magnificent animals will leave you awestruck! Enjoy a nostalgic Steam Train Safari and a romantic silver service dinner on board of the Livingstone Steam Train. The train comprises five carriages: two dining cars, a kitchen car, a lounge car and an observation car with steam locomotives 10th class 156 and 12th class 204 built by Northern British Locomotive in the 1930 s. Loco 156 was renovated by the famous Wildlife Artist David Sheppard, donated in 1971 to Zambia National Heritage and restored again by Bushtracks in The Beautiful Wembley Dinning Car was built by the Birmingham Railway Carriage and went on display in London at the British Empire Exhibition in It was then shipped to the Union and entered service on 19th May In honour of its exhibition duties it was renamed the Wembley. The best way to celebrate the end of the day is with a spectacular sunset over the Zambezi River. This cruise slides beyond the Siloka Island, enjoying the abundant wildlife along the shores. 10 WHITE WATER RAFTING ZIP LINE Raft the mighty Zambezi River in Victoria Falls on a Zambezi River rafting trip. Negotiate some of the biggest rafting rapids in the world along the Zambezi River in Victoria Falls. Experience the longest zip line ride in the world. Imagine the adrenalin rush traveling a speed of 106 km/h hurtling 425m across the Batoka gorge, while suspended 120m above the breathtaking beauty of the Zambezi river! As the river zigzags down the Batoka gorges, the cable is suspended from one side to the other. For this product you are harnessed and attached to a pulley, then launched over the edge, picking up speed as you descend over the water and reaching a speed of 106 km per hour.
