5 2013 Southern Cross International Open Entry Form Signed and witnessed Waiver must be provided before a cadet will be able to compete. At these championships the IJF Rules will apply to the Cadet divisions. The IJF permits the use of strangling techniques and arm bars by players in the Cadet divisions. These techniques might not have been taught to players in this age bracket in this country as they are contrary to the JFA rules for juniors. Therefore this warning is issued to parents whose children are participating at these championships. All players who compete in the Southern Cross International Open Championships are hereby informed that neither the JFA Inc., nor Judo Victoria Inc. accept any liability for any injury that may occur due to arm locks and strangling techniques or any other injury directly related to these championships. Players must have their own insurance policy to cover themselves against such injury. (Australian players are covered by their National Registration and Insurance) Waiver: I,...
