2 Event Director s Message Welcome to the 7th annual Darts for Dreams dart-a-thon to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey. 2012, our 7th year... There's so much to say and so much not necessary. Each year I watch as the event grows - more people, more sponsorships, more involvement by our league players, wider reach and ultimately, a bigger donation to the charity!!! This year's surprise, more than any other year's was the overall involvement from our league players. Some were not in the league in the past, some in the league but unaware, and some not concerned in the past. Whatever the reason, more GTDL players participated this year in helping out, selling raffles, and gathering donations than any previous year. Without you, the event wouldn't succeed. On the sponsorship side, we saw previous sponsors close up. We saw sponsors that have left come back, and then gained over forty new sponsors. The resiliency and generosity within our local community and in our global darts community continues to amaze me. As always, I want to thank everyone involved in any and every way! To the GTDL board - thanks for getting behind the event and giving us a mechanism to drive this event to success. To the captains and members who participate, and also embrace our new website, Facebook page and mailing lists to get stay connected with the league. To our sponsor bars who provide a place to play, and realize the partnership works in both directions. To MAWFNJ for providing us an outlet to help those in our community who need it most. 3 Darts for Dreams 7 Schedule of Events April 28th, 2012 Noon : Doors Open 1 PM : Dart-a-thon starts 2 PM : Raffles, 50/50 and Silent Auction starts 4 PM : Kids event ends and prizes given away 5 PM : Raffle drawings for large raffles 6 PM : Raffles and Silent Auction ends 7 PM : Official end of event but if you re still around, we ll stay around too. Hourly prizes will be paid to the top hourly score for the hours ending at 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 PM. If the high score is not a GTDL member, an additional prize will be paid to the highest GTDL member. Awards will be given to the overall high score for male, female and team scores. Male and female scores will include a cash prize, team scores will only include a cash prize if five or more teams participate. We even have some youth awards this year let s start them young, for darts and for charity s sake! The winners of the large raffle will need to make arrangements with the event director to pick up the items on a date after the event.

Thank you from the event committee! The Cook Athletic Association is a non-profit organization which has been promoting youth sports in the greater Trenton-Hamilton area for over 50 years. We have co-ed winter and summer basketball leagues for children ages 6 thru 15, men s basketball leagues and girl s softball pitching clinics. We offer hall rentals for small or large affairs. We also have Karaoke every month on Saturday evening beginning at 9:00pm.
