2 Welcome! We re so excited that you have registered for Run to Remember 10K, 5K, & 1 Mile Kids Run! Whether you re a life-long Lincoln County resident, or this is your first time to Brookhaven, we are thrilled to host you in the Home Seeker s Paradise! Run to Remember is race #2 of 5 in the Ole Brook Run Series. The inaugural year of the series got off to a great start with the Cupid Shuffle 5K and we couldn t be more excited about hosting the upcoming events in the Ole Brook Run Series this year! P.O. 4 The Event Run to Remember 2018 is the perfect way to celebrate Memorial Day Weekend in Brookhaven, MS! This 10K, 5K, & 1 Mile run is intended to honor the many brave men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice defending our freedom, and also pay tribute to all of our military who continue to serve in our Armed Forces! The 10K & 5K will start together making a brief run together through downtown and then split at the historic downtown post office. The 10K will then go north and make a lap through Exchange Club Park, while the 5K makes its way down Jackson Street through some of the most beautiful historic neighborhoods in Mississippi! The 10K will then rejoin the 5K, only to split again later in the course. Both races join back together and finish at the same location at the Military Memorial Museum. The majority of the course is flat, but definitely expect a few short, but challenging hills! Don t worry...you ve got this! After the race you ll get to hang out and enjoy the Finish Line After Party which will feature snacks from Georgia Blue Bakery! The Finish Line After Party will also feature some vendor tents including our Presenting Sponsor, Pike National Bank, as well as the MS National Guard, and Stinky Feet Athletics! Run to Remember is race #2 of 5 in the 2018 Ole Brook Run Series! We hope you ll join us for the remainder of the series. Remember, those who run all 5 will receive a customized series commemorative medal!

13 Post Race Awards The Post Race Awards ceremony will be held immediately after the 1 Mile Kids Run is complete. Everyone who completes the race will receive a customized finisher medal upon crossing the finish line. In addition, awards are given to overall male and female winners for the 10K and 5K. Age group awards are given to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners for male and female in each age group. Participants must be present in order to receive an award. No awards will be mailed. FAQ s Photo from Run Run Rudolph Are refunds available if I can t make it? No. Since all race expenses have to be paid prior to the race, we are unable to offer any refunds. Can I still get my t-shirt if I am unable to make it? If someone you know is able to pick it up for you at the event we will allow them to do so. You must let us know ahead of time who will be picking it up for you. We will not mail t-shirts if you are unable to make it. Do I have to stay for the awards presentation to get my award? Yes. We will not mail awards. Will results and times be posted? Yes. Southern Race Timing will be our timer and results will be posted at Are strollers allowed? Yes strollers are welcome, but please be mindful of other runners and use caution. Are pets allowed? No. Due to safety concerns of other runners, we do not allow pets. Can I wear headphones during the race? Yes. Just be cautious and aware of other runners, and be sure you can hear instructions and are able to hear any oncoming traffic.
