2 Race Day Schedule 11am to 1:30pm: Race Day PRE-PAID Packet Pick Up & Registration 12pm: VIP Area opens 12:30pm: Stage Entertainment begins 2:00PM: THE RACE BEGINS!!! (1K/5K/10K/15K) 3:10pm: World Record Announcement by Guinness World Record Judge 3:10pm: Race Shirt pick up begins 5:00pm: Celebration ends **Please note that World Record RACE SHIRTS cannot be given out until the World Record has been set per the Guinness World Record attempt rules. Packet Pick Up This is where you will pick up your goody bag, race bib, free samples/swag, and a receive a nice discount at Road Runner Sports! To pick up your bib on RACE DAY, it'll be $15. Cash or credit. No exceptions. IWHERE: Road Runner Sports Paseo Del Norte, Carlsbad, CA WHEN: Fri, Nov 3 from 12pm to 5pm & Sat, Nov 4 from 10am to 6pm **There is NO CHARGE for packet pick up on Friday and Saturday! Can someone else pick up my packet? Yes, just make sure they have a photo of your ID. I can't make it to packet pick up on Friday or Saturday. What do I do? You can pick up your packet on race day for $15 (due to the Guinness World Records). Cash or Card Only or pre-pay on your registration form. I registered for the Parent/Child Division and need to pick up my packet on race day. Do my child and I both need to pay $15? No, parent/child teams just need to pay $15 total. Included with your Entry Fee: FREE BOOCHCRAFT (Kombucha with Alcohol) samples on Saturday from 2-6pm. 21+ only! Bring your ID for the BoochCraft Garden!

3 Race Day Registration Location: Moonlight State Beach from 11am to 1:30pm If the race is not sold out, you'll be able to register at the event from 11am to 1:30pm. There will be $15 added to each registration. No discounts will apply. Cash or card accepted. RACE SHIRTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED if you register race day!! Course Description On the course, you'll see mile marker flags, turnaround flags and signage! Kids 1K (12 and under) You'll start at the back of the pack, but your course is nothing short of AMAZING! Once you cross the starting line, you'll run north for.3 miles until you see a gigantic flag that says "1K Turnaround". You'll run through the timing cones and head back to Moonlight Beach! 5K This is the most popular of all divisions! Once you cross the starting line, you'll head north and you'll turnaround just north of Beacon's Beach (1.55 miles)! You'll see a gigantic flag that says "5K Turnaround". You'll then run through the timing cones and head back to Moonlight Beach. TIME LIMIT: 2 Hours 10K Once you cross the starting line, you'll head north and you'll run all the way to Ponto Beach (2.88 miles) until you see the "10K Turnaround Flag"! You'll then run through the timing cones and head back towards Moonlight Beach. INSTEAD OF GOING STRAIGHT BACK TO MOONLIGHT BEACH, you'll have to go 100 yards PAST Moonlight Beach to get the full 6.2 miles! We know, it's tough passing the finish line, but it's only 100 yards more! TIME LIMIT: 2 Hrs 30 Min 15K Once you cross the starting line, you'll head north and you'll run all the way to Ponto Beach (2.88 miles) until you see the "15K Turnaround Flag"! You'll then run through the timing cones and head back south. You'll PASS Moonlight Beach and head down to Swami's Beach/San Elijo Area, where you'll see another 15K turnaround flag with a table full of snacks! We gotta keep you strong and smiling when you cross that finish line at Moonlight Beach! TIME LIMIT: 2 hrs 30 min

5 Parking on Race Day All parking is FREE, but it's first come/first serve. There are no road closures for this event. Arriving early (12:30pm) is recommended to find a good spot and you can visit sponsor booths and enjoy the on-stage entertainment while you wait for the race to begin. Places to Park on Race Day: - Street parking surrounding Moonlight Beach - Coaster Parking Lot - 25 East D St, Encinitas, CA Encinitas City Hall S Vulcan Ave, Encinitas, CA Encinitas Library Cornish Dr, Encinitas, CA Along Hwy 101 NORTH of Encinitas Blvd. Alternatives: Take the Coaster Train! 6 Race Rules Things that are PERMITTED: - Strollers (on the course) - Barefoot Runners/Walkers (not recommended) - Ipod/Mp3 players - Service dogs (leashed and vested) - Having way too much fun! Things that are NOT PERMITTED: - Pets - Glass - Alcohol - Smoking - Participating without a bib number - Participating with someone else bib number - Bad Attitudes - Bicycles (on the course) Guinness World Record Attempt Rules 1. Every participant must start at 2pm. There are no waves. The Kids 1K will be timed and must start at 2pm as well. 2. Kids 1K participants MUST start in the back of the pack (for safety) 3. You MUST complete the distance you registered for. For example, if you signed up for the 10K, you must complete the 10K. 4. If you don't complete the race or your distance, you will be taken out of the attempt. 5. You MUST participate with your bib number ON THE FRONT of your body. 6. World Record Medals and World Record Race Shirts CANNOT be given out until the record has been broken! Approx. 2:30-3pm. 7. You must cross over all the timing mats on your course. You will see flags and orange cones. **If any of these rules are not followed, you will be disqualified from the attempt.

7 Course Entertainment We're adding so much FUN stuff on the course this year! - LCC Marching Band - LCC Dance Team - Bach to Rock live band - Mo'Rhythm African Drummers - YMCA Dance Team - Closing Corp Cheer Station - Urbane Cafe Lemonade Station - Pjur Active Anti-Chafing Station Urbane Cafe will also be set up along the 5K course to serve everyone a sample of their amazing WATERMELON MINT LEMONADE to quench that thirst as you complete your race! The New Zealand Maori Dancers will perform on stage for 2 five minute segments and one of them will BLOW THE CONCH SHELL to officiate the race!! Weather November in Encinitas is just BEAUTIFUL and cooler with an average high of 69 degrees! **Please note that Daylight Savings Times ENDS in the wee morning hours of November 5th, so make sure to change your clocks AND the 15K walkers might just get a sunset course! Course Support RESTROOMS 1K and 5K - Make sure you use the restroom before the race begins! There are NO portopotties on the sand! 10K and 15K- There are bathrooms at Ponto State Beach (2.88 miles), Moonlight Beach (6 miles) and Swami's (7.2 miles). There are NO porto-potties on the sand.

8 ENERGY & ELECTROLYTES Electrolytes provided to all participants by Ultima Replenisher! 1K - There are no water stations on this course. Please use the pre-race water station and the finish line area for your water, energy and electrolyte source. 5K - There is a water station with Ultima at Beacon's Beach (1.5 miles). Urbane Cafe will also have a Watermelon Mint Lemonade Station at Stone Steps Beach (.7 miles). 10K - There is a water/ultima station at Beacon's Beach (1.5 & 4.5 miles), water/ultima station at Ponto Beach (2.88 miles) and Urbane Cafe Lemonade Station at Stone Steps Beach(.7 & 5.5 miles). 15K - There is a water/ultima station at Beacon's Beach (1.5 & 4.5 miles), water/ultima station at Ponto Beach (2.88 miles), and Urbane Cafe Lemonade Station at Stone Steps Beach(.7 & 5.5 miles) and a FUEL station with water, ultima, candy and pretzels SOUTH of Moonlight Beach near D Street Beach access (6.1 miles) Lost and Found If you find or lose anything, please report to the Volunteer Tent at Moonlight Beach. All items left behind will be kept for 2 weeks following the race and then donated to the local shelter. Chip Timing & Results RaceWire will be your timing company! The timing chips will be embedded in your bib number, so DON'T REMOVE it from your bib! Your race results will be texted to you to the phone number you provided on the registration form! Pretty awesome! Race results will be printed and posted in a shaded tent near the stage as well as online! The awards ceremony will begin at 3:15pm.

9 Photography We will have a professional photography company capturing all of your awesome FINISH LINE SMILES! They will be ready for viewing and/or purchase 1 week following the race. We will also be taking aerial photos and footage and ground photos! All photos will be posted 1 week after the race! Merchandise & Pre-paid Merchandise At the Merchandise Booth, you'll find souvenirs at totally affordable prices, such as: - World Record Pint Glass ($10) & 2015 Race Shirts ($3) - "Save the Ocean" stickers ($1) Only while supplies last... IF YOU PURCHASED ITEMS on the registration form, you can pick them up on race day at the Merchandise booth AFTER 2:30pm or at packet pick up on Friday and Saturday. Awards Awards will be given to the following winners in the 1K, 5K, 10K and 15K - 5 Largest Teams (prize money listed on website) - 1st, 2nd and 3rd Male and Female in each age division - Overall 1st, 2nd, 3rd Male and Female - Parent/Child 1st, 2nd, 3rd

10 VIP participants We added a luxury this year... the VIP Area for the event!! It is $45 per guest (family, military and group discounts available) and includes the following: - VIP Parking - VIP Race Day Bib Pick Up - Pre/Post Race refreshments in VIP overlook Area - Lunch bites by Urbane Cafe - VIP Shirt and Goody Bag pick up - Complimentary massages by Embody Wellness - Sponsor Gift by Nursery By the Sea The VIP overlook Area will be located at Moonlight Beach on the rooftop of the lifeguard garage that overlooks the event! VIP Area opens at 12:00pm and closes at 5:00pm VIP PARKING: 390 w F Street (Former Pacific View Elementary) Parking lot opens at 11am. Attendants will be there to check you in and help you park. If you would like access to the VIP area on race day to enjoy the sponsor goodies and massages, the price is $20. That will NOT include VIP Parking, VIP Bib Pick Up or VIP Shirt pick up. Questions?
