4 Volunteer Firefighters Association Purpose The purpose of the Oglethorpe County Volunteer Firefighters Association is to provide a forum for the development of a professional level of fire protection among its member departments so these departments can provide the citizens of Oglethorpe County professional fire protection, minimizing loss of life and property and educating the general public in fire safety and prevention.
