3 Competition: All teams will start the competition with 200,000 points. All Pilots will start with 0 points. The team with the lowest score at the end of the competition will be declared the winner. The Pilot with the most points will have the honour of being a Sierra hotel. Points will be deducted for: destruction or damage of designated targets, timing, tactics, and survivability during the competition. Points will be added to score for: destruction of own-ship, destruction of friendly units, buildings, vehicles, and destruction of non-designated targets. Profiles are flight log able and logged as exercise and mission type gunsmoke. Teams: Each team will be comprised of two 87 th Members. Recruits are permitted to fly in this competition so long as they have passed the Pre IQT. Lead will remain lead throughout the competition. Wingman will remain wingman throughout the competition. Only one substitute per team is permitted. Points acquired will remain if a substitute is needed. A substitute may not be a pilot from another team or a non 87 th Member. Any team not finishing a profile in the time allotted will be asked to complete profile during the makeup period (add make up period dates here). After makeup time has expired any team not flying a profile will receive a 0 for that profile. Teams will only fly profiles once, unless flight was disrupted due to CTD. If a team experiences a CTD, a re-fly is permitted, upon request Changes to the team name are not permitted after start of the event. Teams will submit flight info, to their designated team folder, as soon as possible.

4 Missions: It is recommended that teams do a Pre-flight test to make sure all systems are functioning. TE s will be made with the most current installer and re-written as needed to keep up with the current installer. The version number of the installer that TE was made with will be indicated on the briefing. A Forum post will inform teams when they can download the mission profile package. Teams will download TE s from the Link provided on the Forum (see GunSmoke thread for more details). After download, teams will have 6 hours to brief, fly, debrief and send the information package to the /Briefing/Tactial Enganement Missions -Briefings/Ninja/OPGS_2013/Profile/ team name folder on the TS file Browser Teams will receive a mission profile package, containing.tac,.ini,.twx files, MDC s, briefing, and photos of targets when applicable. MDC s will not be completely filled out, that is for each team to do. The standard auto-fill from the WDP will be used to create MDC s. It is recommended that teams utilize the WDP for all mission parameters above and beyond the MDC. (Thanx Falcas) After each flight, teams will submit the following for review: 1. ACMI from the pilot who can set the largest file size for the ACMI file in Falcon UI setup. If more than one ACMI file is sent they will be named as follows- team_name_mission_flown1.vhs, team_name_mission_flown2.vhs. (Mudbusters_SEAD1.vhs, Mudbusters_SEAD2.vhs, etc.) 2. Screen shots of mission results including dropdowns, no need to alter the photo file type. These should be named teamname_profile_debrief1 \debrief2 ect 3. A short debrief of the flight. 4. The debrief.txt file in the briefing folder in the main falcon directory. 5. Copy of the saved.tac file after flight is complete. 6. If you have a Fraps vid you can send that in addition to the above. 7. Finally, please send an informative to mailto:ninja@87th.org when flight is complete, the items

5 listed above are in a folder and.rared up, and copied to the correct folder for your team on TS. Profiles: Flights will depart and return to Kunsan airbase This competition consists of 5 profiles. Teams will attempt to utilize cunning & courage to employ tactics to achieve mission objectives. Profile 1 - SEAD flights: Teams can choose to play it safe or go for points in a very difficult SEAD, in this flight the objective is to try to kill as many radar sites as possible with current load out. Profile 2 CAS flights: Teams will fly a CAS flight to assist ground troops and try to kill enemy units. Profile 3 Pop-up flights: Teams will decide what pop up profile to use for this flight against SAM protected assets. Profile 4 med high LGB flights: Teams will attempt to hit static targets from med high altitude; small targets will make this challenging. Profile 5 Guns Guns Guns Run: A run to the range for some basic target practice will challenge even the best of pilots.

6 Scoring: Damaging or destroying a friendly asset or a structure will result in additional 5000 points. Point values for all applicable targets will be posted for all teams to check prior to the flight. Scores will be updated as soon as possible and posted here. Point totals and values will be finalized one week after each event. If your team has a discrepancy with points please contact: Ninja@87th.org Within one week of the end date of the previous profile. No points for spent ordinance will be accumulated. No points for destruction of any enemy asset not on the target list unless otherwise noted. Scoring for SEAD flight is as follows: Destruction or damage of radar site for SAM batteries will be highest point value, the more modern or lethal the higher the point value. Tactic and survivability will affect the final score. Scoring for CAS flight is as follows: The more advanced the unit the higher the point value; offensive units will be the highest point value. Scoring for Pop-up flight is as follows: Designated targets will have a point value if destroyed or damaged, tactic & survivability will be scored. Scoring for the LGB flight is as follows: Designated targets will have a point value if destroyed or damaged, tactic & survivability will be scored. Scoring for the Guns Guns Guns run will be as follows: Points for guns targets will be accumulated at the range by hits on either the large guns targets or the small guns targets. Smaller targets will carry a greater point value and of course survivability. This set of rules and regulations may be changed, or have additions; however no changes or additions will be made after June. 21st.
