WKU posted a 9-21 record in the season prior to Clark- Heard s arrival at WKU. She quickly turned around the record in year one by winning 13 additional games and posting a record, the largest turnaround in Sun Belt Conference history. She followed her successful rookie campaign with a 24-9 mark in and the program s 10th Sun Belt Conference Tournament championship and the 17th NCAA Tournament appearance in program history.
