I remember the drive to Samford, getting here and not knowing what to expect. The last thing I wanted was to leave home. I met a lot of interesting characters who helped me through. What would you like to accomplish before leaving Samford? It would be an honor to be an All-Conference player. It really doesn t matter if it s first- or second-team. What will you miss most about Samford? The people. I have built some lifelong friendships here, and I know after graduation that I will rarely see them. 20

What is your fondest memory of Samford? Freshman year, first game starting. I did not know what to expect. I know what I did not expect that I would come out of the game so soon! What will you miss most about Samford? The guys who I worked with daily. I have been through a lot of tough and great times with those guys, and I will truly miss them. 24

Growing up, I played quarterback and running back, but never got the chance to play receiver. What lessons have you learned from football that will help you in everyday life? Time management. Playing football is like having a part-time job, and it has taught me to use my free time wisely. 25
