I remember the drive to Samford, getting here and not knowing what to expect. The last thing I wanted was to leave home. I met a lot of interesting characters who helped me through. What would you like to accomplish before leaving Samford? It would be an honor to be an All-Conference player. It really doesn t matter if it s first- or second-team. What will you miss most about Samford? The people. I have built some lifelong friendships here, and I know after graduation that I will rarely see them. 20

He also had two from 38 yards. One was to win a regional game, and the other was to send an area game into overtime. Fleming was also 43-for-47 on extra points. He was named first-team All-Area and second-team All- Region as both a junior and a senior. 6 B. T. Hartloge, DB, 5-10, 183 Hoover HS, Hoover, Ala. Hartloge was a two-time All-State and All-Metro team member. He led his team and was third in the state in receptions. He also led his team in all-purpose yards.
