The USA limited Russia to just 41.6 percent shooting (27-65 FGs) and 31.4 percent in the first half (11-35 FGs), and forced 20 turnovers, which led to 27 U.S. points. Louisville s Shoni Schimmel finished the tournament averaging 4.6 points and 3.0 assists in 12.8 minutes per game. On the Red Carpet The Louisville women s basketball team was nominated for a 2013 ESPY for Biggest Upset after the Cardinals defeated Baylor in the Sweet 16 of the Oklahoma City Regional.
