Duke is the only team in the top five nationally in both offensive efficiency and defensive efficiency, currently ranked third in defense and fourth in offense. Duke s five games versus AP top 15 ranked opponents are the most in the nation, and the Blue Devils are 4-1 in those games. All have come away from home. Fresh off a 32-point effort at Florida State, freshman RJ Barrett continues to lead the ACC in scoring at 23.4 points per game -- 13th nationally and third among NCAA freshmen. With 351 points, Barrett has more points than any previous Duke freshman through a season s first 15 games. Barrett and Zion Williamson are the only pair of teammates in the NCAA each averaging 20 points per game. Only Kentucky (2,277), Kansas (2,262) and North Carolina (2,244) have more all-time wins than Duke. Over the Blue Devils nine game winning streak, the team has held eight of the opponents to their season-low for offensive efficiency. He has posted a double-double in five of the last seven games. Four of his double-doubles have been efforts -- his four efforts rank as the sixth most by a Duke freshman in history. With Williamson and RJ Barrett each posting a doubledouble in the Hartford game, it marked the 15th time in Duke history multiple freshmen had a double-double in the same game -- it happened 11 times last season. Williamson is the ACC s only player ranked in the top 10 for scoring (tied second), rebounds (fourth), field goal percentage (first), steals (fifth) and both blocked shots (fifth).
