Hit backto-back 3-pointers over a 31-second span to cut Florida State's once nine-point lead to a single point, 46-45, with 6:12 left in the game. Solid effort produced two points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals in 26 minutes in ASU's Trenton Regional semifinal win over Texas A&M Played in 28 games. Played 11 minutes and recorded a career-best five rebounds in ASU s win over Boston (Dec. 1). A 2005 graduate of Upwey in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Was a four-year varsity player. Captained the under 18 Victorian State team, which ended up being the runner-up in the under-18 Australian National Junior Classic in addition to winning gold at the Victorian Club Championships. In 2004, was selected for the senior women s development team which went on to win the Victorian League Basketball Championship Series in which she was the top scorer in the first game with 18 points to go along with seven blocks and five assists. In 2003, captained her under-16 club team, which won the under 16 Australian National Junior Classic and was runner-up in the Victorian Club Championships. A member of the Nunawading Spectres club team during high school. In addition to playing for the Nunawading Specters club team, also played for the Belgrave South Red Devils club team earlier in her career and attended Upwey. Also coming up through that exact same path (Nunawading, Belgrave and Upwey) was WNBA player Penny Taylor. Major is BIS (business and psychology). The daughter of Terry and Sheryl Fage of Victoria, Australia. Her father is a retired soldier and her mother is a hospital theatre nurse. Finished her St. Mary s career second on the school s all-time list in both rebounds (903) and blocked shots (267) and fourth in most points (1,377). Set the school single-season record for blocked shots with 95 in Earned all-state, honorable mention all-state, all-region, and honorable mention all-region during her four years at St. Mary s. Captained her team for one season. Scored a career high 32 points during her junior season and collected a career high 18 rebounds as a sophomore. Less than a week after the season opener at North Carolina, Orsillo was diagnosed with the knee injury that would eventually sideline her for the remainder of the season. Without Briann January in the lineup, Orsillo made only the sixth start of her career and responded by scoring a game-high 16 points on 7-12 shooting to go along with three rebounds and two assists all while playing a career-high 34 minutes Was named to the Pac-10 s Freshman Honorable Mention team. Averaged 35.7 points per game as a junior and 36.7 points per contest as a senior. Finished third on the state s all-time career scoring list with 3,340 points, behind Charde Houston and Cheryl Miller, also finished second in state history to Miller in career average (30.5 ppg). Named the MVP of her section in each of her last three seasons, and was the MVP of the Westside League in 2004 and the Northern Athletic League in 2005, and was a finalist for California s Ms. Basketball award in Had her jersey No. 13 retired. At the time of her injury, Simon, who averaged 17.1 minutes in 20 games, was third on the team in scoring (9.7 points per game) and second on the team in steals (1.6 per game). Despite playing in 20 games and only half of ASU s conference games, still earned Pac- 10 All-Freshman honors as voted on by the league s coaches. Tallied double figures in points seven times. Earned Pac-10 Player of the Week kudos after averaging 20 points, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals in ASU s wins vs. Washington State (Jan. 4) and Washington (Jan. 7). In the two games Simon connected on 78.9 percent of her shots, including 4-of-5 from three-point range (80 percent). Simon scored a career-best 24 points on 9-of-11 shooting (.818) and tied her career-best with five assists in ASU s victory over the Cougars.
