In conference, Watson is currently fourth in the OVC in kills (262) and kills per set (3.85). Watson has had seventeen double-doubles on the season. -Sophomore setter Samantha Beltran has dished out 1,061 assists for an average of 9.65 per set, which ranks eighth in TSU s single season records. With 2,116 career assists, Beltran sits in third in TSU s career record books. Through conference play, Beltran ranks third in the OVC with 704 assists (10.35 a/s) through 16 conference matches. Beltran ranks 112th nationally in assists per set. -Senior Madison Halterman leads the Tigers and the OVC in digs this season with 546 digs on the season and 361(5.31d/s) in conference play. Halterman ranks 29th in the country in digs per set and 35th in total digs. 3 Kathy BULLOCK HEAD COACH 12th YEAR, NORTH CAROLINA A&T 87 Since taking over the helm of the TSU volleyball program in 2004, Kathy Bullock has led the Tigers to two OVC titles, an NCAA appearance and three of the best seasons in school history. In 2014, Bullock also collected her 300th career win vs. East Tennessee State University. In 2007, Bullock guided the Tigers to their first OVC Tournament Championship and first ever NCAA Tournament berth. TSU finished the season with a conference mark of Under her guidance, the Tiger volleyball program has had nine All-OVC Second- Team, four All-OVC Newcomer and five All-OVC First Team selections. Additionally, in 2011, Shaquita Williams was named the Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year; marking the first time that a Tennessee State player has recieved the honor. Bullock joined the Tennessee State University staff in By the next season, she turned the Tigers into conference champions and guided them to the best overall record in school history, The previous year, the squad finished with an overall record of The 17-game turn around was the largest in 2005 for NCAA Division- I. The Tigers also set the school record for most wins in conference play, going 14-2 en route to their first regular season conference championship. The team s accomplishments earned Bullock Ohio Valley Conference Coach of the Year honors. Prior to TSU, Bullock spent ten years as head coach at North Carolina A&T. In her first season, Bullock went and 7-4 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) in In her next season, Bullock coached the Lady Aggies to 15 wins and won the MEAC Southern Division with an 8-1 record. In 1996, Bullock led the Lady Aggies to a remarkable record and a first place 6-0 finish in the conference. In 1998, Roulhac led NC A&T to an overall record while finishing 8-0 in the MEAC. From , Bullock s Lady Aggies won 19, 20 and 22 games, extending their winning and school record each year. In her final year at NC A&T, she led the Lady Aggies to a record of 18-15, with a lineup that had just one senior. She completed her Lady Aggie career with a record of in ten seasons. She has coached seven First-Team All- MEAC selections, and one MEAC Player of the Year, outside hitter Vania Blake in As a student-athlete, Bullock was named to the volleyball All-MEAC First Team each of her four seasons and is the only player in conference history to achieve that honor. She was also an All-American track performer in the 800-meters during the season. A native of Durham, N.C., Roulhac graduated from North Carolina A&T in 1987 with a degree in communications.
