Kick off at the USF Soccer Stadium is slated for 7:30 p.m.... Wednesday s match will be carried live on WMNF 88.5 FM HD 2 and WXBL 1620AM with Joel Godett calling all the action from high above the field... Fans can also follow the action via the world wide web by logging onto GoUSFBulls.com and selecting the BullsVision Premium option for live audio and video streaming... In addition, the contest will also be televised live in the Tampa Bay area on Bright House Sports Network (cable channel 47) with veteran soccer announcer - and former voice of the Tampa Bay Rowdies (NASL) and Tampa Bay Mutiny (MLS) - Jim Henderson calling all the action... He will be joined by former USF goalkeeper and Tampa Bay Rowdie Mike Pepper... Wednesday s match is the first of a season-long threematch home stand for the Bulls... Following the meeting with the Big Green, USF will take on Villanova on Oct. 24 (7:30 p.m.) and then close out its regular season home slate against DePaul on Oct. 28 (7:30 p.m.)... It was USF s second straight win, and second consecutive match netting three goals after not accomplishing the feat since Oct. 21, 2008 in the 3-0 win over Florida Atlantic... The Bulls had two players record multi-point games against the Orange in Sebastien Thuriere with three points (2-1) and Javed Mohammed logging two points (0-2)... On the year, Bernardo Anor continues to lead the team in scoring with 11 points (5-1) while Javed Mohammed is second with nine points (1-7)... Hasani Sinclair (3-1) and Zak Boggs (3-1) are tied for third in scoring with seven points... Jeff Attinella, the Bulls mainstay between the pipes, has played every second of the regular season this year - a total of 1,211:55 - and has recorded 66 saves and five shutouts... The Interactive Guide features staff and player bios, videos, photo galleries and all the information that was previously presented in the print media guide... The USF Communications staff, presenting sponsor D&K Consulting and Blue Chip Athletics Solutions worked on the project throughout July... USF has taken the history and records sections that were traditionally printed and added them to GoUSFBulls.com in a format that is easy to search and read. Previously, the history and records sections for football and other sports were not available online... USF Athletics spent $185,000 on printed media guides over the last two academic years and was able to trim the majority of those funds from its budget by moving to the interactive format. THE SERIES VS. THE BIG GREEN Tonight s game will be the first-ever meeting between USF and Dartmouth. USF VS. THE IVY LEAGUE The Bulls have faced three opponents from the Ivy League in the past with the most recent coming in first round of the NCAA Tournament last year against Harvard... USF handed the Crimson a 2-1 defeat on Nov. 25, The Bulls are 1-2 all-time against the Ivy League... In addition to Harvard, USF has faced Penn (0-1) and Princeton (0-1). LAST TIME OUT FOR THE BULLS USF won its second straight game on Oct. 17 with a solid 3-0 victory at Syracuse... The win was the Bulls fifth shutout of the season... Coming intowednesday s match, seven different players have registered a game winning goal in the Bulls nine wins. Bernardo Anor (vs. Valparaiso, Sept. 8 and at Pittsburgh, Sept. 27) leads the team with two... Zak Boggs (vs. UCF, Sept. 1 and at Syracuse, Oct. 17), Javed Mohammed (at Florida Gulf Coast, Sept. 4), Shawn Chin (at Virginia Tech, Sept. 11), Jorge Mora (vs. Notre Dame, Sept. 20), Ashani Fairclough (vs. Cincinnati, Oct. 3) and Sebastian Thuriere (vs. Florida Atlantic, Oct. 14) have all found the back of the net for game winners this year. FIVE ALIVE USF s Sebastian Thuriere had a big week in the Bulls two games during the week of Oct The sophomore midfielder recorded five points with two goals and an assist... He scored his first goal of the week - also the game winner - in USF s 3-2 win over Florida Atlantic on Oct He would follow that up with a goal and an assist at Syracuse in the Bulls 3-0 shutout victory. JEFF ATTINELLA TABBED BIG EAST KEEPER OF THE WEEK USF goalkeeper Jeff Attinella had a good week during the week of Sept , and his play certainly didn t go without notice being named to TopDrawerSoccer.com s National Team of the Week as well as the BIG EAST Conference Goalkeeper of the Week for the week ending Sept Attinella was a key part of USF's two shutout wins... The Bulls earned 1-0 wins over Valparaiso in overtime at home on Sept. 8 and on the road at Virginia Tech on Sept He made a total of five saves on the week, playing 180:43 in net... The junior keeper made three saves in the Valpo win, while stopping two against the Hokies... A total of 14 shots were sent Attinella's way in the two games... It was Attinella's first career BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week honor. Attinella would receive the league net minder of the week award for a second time for the week ending Oct It was the Safety Harbor, Fla., native s second career time earning the honor while also becoming the first BIG EAST goalkeeper to win it twice this season... Attinella, who recorded his fourth shutout of the year with a 2-0 home victory over Cincinnati on Oct. 3, made seven saves in 90 minutes of play against the Bearcats... Attinella came up with a huge save when Cincinnati was awarded a penalty kick with eight minutes remaining in the game to preserve what was, at that time, a 1-0 lead... The Bulls would respond just over a minute later with a goal to ice the contest. He would come back on Oct. 17, and help lead the Bulls to a 3-0 victory with his one goal and one assist... ZAK BOGGS TABBED FINALIST FOR LOWE S SENIOR CLASS AWARD USF s Zak Boggs has been named one of 10 finalists for the prestigious Lowe s Senior CLASS Award, marking the second straight year that the USF men s soccer program has been represented on the final list... Last year, former Bull Yohance Marshall made the cut as one of the awards finalists. Boggs, the lone BIG EAST Conference representative on the finalist list, has proven to be the epitome of the term student athlete... Boggs finished his undergraduate career at USF early with a degree in Biomedical Sciences in May of 2009, boasting a perfect 4.0 grade point average (GPA) while earning 136 credit hours... USF is just one of two schools that have two players named to the preseason list of Ballots will be distributed through a nationwide voting system to media, coaches and fans, who will select one male candidate and one female candidate who best exemplify excellence in the four Cs of classroom, character, community and competition. An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School, the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award honors the attributes of senior student-athletes in four areas: classroom, community, character and competition.
