REGULAR SEASON TICKETS ON SALE Tickets for all Los Angeles Kings regular season games at STAPLES Center will go on sale to the public on Thursday, September 12, at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased through All Kings games at STAPLES Center were sold out last year and the club expects to sell out every game this year. To guarantee access to top games, as well as playoff priority, fans can purchase 10-game plans and 22-game half season plans. Limited partial plans are still available with information at and KINGS.LA. Season Ticket Packages are currently sold out while a limited number of Group Packages and Individual Game Suites, accommodating groups of people, are available and on sale now. The Kings have sold out 68 straight games (regular season and playoffs), dating back to the season. KINGS AND FOX SPORTS WEST/PRIME TICKET TO BROADCAST 73 GAMES IN HD The Kings will televise in HD 73 regular season games on FOX Sports West/PRIME TICKET for the season. All 82 Kings games are currently slated to be broadcast this season locally or on national television, plus FOX Sports West will broadcast two Kings preseason games this year (Sept. 24 vs. ANA and Sept 27 vs. NYR in Las Vegas). Kings television play-by-play announcer Bob Miller and color commentator Jim Fox return to broadcast Kings games this season. Miller returns for his 41st season as the television Voice of the Kings and Fox, the former Kings forward, is entering his 24th season as the club s television color commentator. Kings Live returns to Star Plaza (outside STAPLES Center) prior to and immediately following home and road telecasts on FOX Sports West. Patrick O Neal will again serve as host, sitting alongside Daryl Evans for all road telecasts on FOX Sports West, while former Kings defenseman Sean O Donnell makes his Kings Live debut this season before and after all home and select road telecasts on the regional sports network. Fox also joins the desk to offer viewers post-game recaps and analysis. In addition, Kings beat writer Jon Rosen (LAKingsInsider.com) returns to offer updates and reports before and after each game on the road, while Alex Curry delivers interviews and reports surrounding all home telecasts. Connected, original, fast-paced and fun, the half-hour program bring fans closer to the team with player and coach interviews, game analysis and much more. In addition, for the fifth consecutive season, all Kings games will be broadcast in High Definition (HD).

4 KINGS WEEKLY TO DEBUT THIS SEASON Additionally this season, FOX Sports West will showcase the Kings off the ice in a number of original programming offerings including, Kings Live: Season Preview Special debuting after the exhibition game on Tuesday, September 24 at 10:30 p.m. Then providing fans with a look behind the scenes later this fall, The Making of the Kings Ice Crew Calendar will showcase the ladies of the Ice Crew for the third year and what preparations they go through before and during the two day shoot at Zuma Beach in Malibu. And making its inaugural debut, Kings Weekly, hosted by Alex Curry, will take fans behind the scenes to showcase the lives, training regimens and more of the players. Following the premiere on Wednesday, October 9 at 10:30 pm, the half-hour program will air every Thursday night throughout the season immediately following Kings Live postgame coverage. KINGS TO HOST DUCKS AT DODGER STADIUM ON SATURDAY, JAN. 25 The Kings will play host to the Anaheim Ducks in a regular-season NHL game outdoors at Dodger Stadium on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. as part of the 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series. The event will be the first outdoor regular season NHL game played in the U.S. west of the Mississippi River, the southern-most outdoor NHL game ever and the first-ever in California. Venerable Dodger Stadium will provide the unique setting for the event. Opened on April 10, 1962, it is the third-oldest continually used ballpark in Major League Baseball. Dodger Stadium has hosted more than 147 million fans since it opened. The host for eight World Series and close to 4,000 regular-season games, this will be the first time Dodger Stadium will be the home of a hockey game. With its view of Chavez Ravine overlooking downtown Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Mountains, Dodger Stadium has been called one of the treasured cathedrals of baseball with one of the most picturesque settings in sports. Seating for this outdoor game is approximately 53,000. FROZEN FURY XV TAKES PLACE SEPTEMBER / INAUGURAL FROZEN FURY FANTASY CAMP Frozen Fury XV will take place September 27-28, as the Kings will play two games at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas as part of their 2013 preseason schedule. On Friday, September 27, the Kings will host the New York Rangers (7 p.m.) and on Saturday, September 28 the Kings will host the Colorado Avalanche (7 p.m.) with both games taking place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The Kings began Frozen Fury in 1997 and have a all-time record in those games. Note: two games were also played in Tickets are on sale now. The Kings, in conjunction with the LA Kings Alumni Association Presented By Toyota, are also holding the inaugural Frozen Fury Fantasy Camp, set to take place in Las Vegas Sept The Frozen Fury Fantasy Camp will take place at the following locations in Las Vegas: MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, MGM Grand Garden Arena and the Las Vegas Ice Center. The following Kings alumni are scheduled to participate: Luc Robitaille, Rob Blake, Nelson Emerson, Jim Fox, Daryl Evans, Sean O Donnell, Charlie Simmer, Glen Murray, Larry Murphy, Garry Galley and more. KINGS APPOINT ROB BLAKE AS ASSISTANT GENERAL MANGER Former Kings captain and defenseman Rob Blake was named the club s Assistant General Manager on July 18. Blake is the Kings all-time leader in games played, goals, assists and points by a defenseman. He played 14 of his 20 NHL seasons with the Kings ( and ), the San Jose Sharks ( ) and the Colorado Avalanche ( ), where he won a Stanley Cup in He recorded 777 points ( =777) in 1270 regular season games while in 146 playoff games he registered 73 points (26-47=73). Blake served as the Kings captain from and again from (six seasons totals). He helped lead the Kings to the Stanley Cup Final in 1993; won the franchise s first Norris Trophy in 1998; captured a gold medal at the 2002 Olympics; and made six trips to the NHL All-Star Game including four as a King. In his new role, Blake assists Dean Lombardi in all facets of the Kings Hockey Operations department, including contract negotiations, player personnel and overseeing the organization s top prospects. In addition, Blake now oversees the Manchester Monarchs hockey operations department while serving as General Manager of the Kings primary affiliate (American Hockey League). KINGS HIRE SEAN O DONNELL AS MANAGER, FAN DEVELOPMENT AND ALUMNI RELATIONS Kings Alumnus Sean O Donnell has joined the team in an official capacity as Manager, Fan Development and Alumni Relations. In his new role with the Kings, O Donnell will help both Fan Development and Community Relations by participating in on-ice events such as camps and clinics, and appearing at community events such as Kings Camp, the LA Kings Golf Tournament, Tip A King, the Kings Rink Tour, Kings Fantasy Camp, and more. O Donnell will also be a part of Kings telecasts on FOX Sports West. In addition, he will take an active role in the Alumni Association by helping to organize it and by making appearances on its behalf at area events. O Donnell will work out of the Kings business offices in El Segundo. The 41-year-old O Donnell played 17 seasons in the NHL, and eight of those seasons were spent in Los Angeles as a member of the Kings ( and ). O Donnell, a native of Ottawa, Ontario, and a longtime South Bay resident, ranks fourth all-time in penalty minutes (940 PIM) and fifth all-time in games played (541 GP) among Kings blue liners, and his 98 career points (15-83=98) in a Kings sweater ranks 21 st among team defensemen all-time.

5 NHL PLAYERS TO ONCE AGAIN COMPETE IN THE WINTER OLYMPICS The National Hockey League Players Association (NHLPA) and the National Hockey League (NHL) have reached an agreement with the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) to secure participation of NHL players in the upcoming 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia. NHL players will be available to the 12 participating IIHF Member National Associations for the men s Olympic ice hockey tournament (February 12 23, 2014). This will mark the fifth consecutive time dating back to Nagano 1998 that NHL players have participated in the Olympics. More than 120 NHL players are expected to compete for their respective nations in Sochi. The NHL will break from the regular season schedule on February 9 and return to play February 26 to allow for participation in the Games. JAY WELLS, LARRY MURPHY AND JIM FOX TO BE HONORED AS PART OF THIS YEAR S LEGENDS NIGHT SERIES PRESENTED BY MCDONALD S The Kings will honor three former standout players Jay Wells, Larry Murphy and Jim Fox as the organization unveiled this season s popular Legends Night Series presented by McDonald s. Wells will be honored on October 27 prior to the Kings-Edmonton game at STAPLES Center. Murphy will be honored on December 7 (Kings versus the New York Islanders) and Fox will be honored on March 13 (Kings-Toronto). In addition the Kings will recognize all three men with a special Bobble Giveaway to fans. The Kings will also wear their Vintage Jerseys as part of these special evenings. It will mark the only time the Kings will wear these sweaters during the season. Wells, a defenseman, played in 604 regular season games for the Kings from after being selected by the Kings in the first round (16 th overall) of the 1979 NHL Draft. Currently he is ranked fourth on the team s all-time list for games played by a defenseman (10 th overall). He also ranks third all-time in penalty minutes with 1,446. Murphy began his Hockey Hall of Fame career with the Kings. The defenseman was selected by the Kings in the firstround (fourth overall) in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. Later that year the native of Ontario made his Kings/NHL debut. Fox is eighth on the Kings all-time scoring list, ninth in assists and ninth in goals with 479 points ( =479) in 578 games. He spent his entire 10-year career as a member of the Kings after being selected in the first round (10 th overall) of the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. A three time 30-goal scorer, Fox a forward -- enjoyed his most productive season in when he recorded 83 points (30-53=83), and in 22 career playoff games with the Kings, Fox had 12 points (4-8=12).
