1 To All Weymouth Youth Hockey Parents and Players: The following is the registration Information for the 2018/2019 Season Online Registration Opens February 16, 2018 Walk in Registration will only be held during tryouts at the Weymouth Connell Rink. Please refer to the tryout schedule posted previously. The registration deposit and tryout fee can be paid at this time. Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card; we will have a credit card machine available to process payments at Tryouts. Deadlines for Registration: o South Shore Conference Teams: First day of WYH tryouts for each level o Midget B Short Season and Girls Full and Short Season Teams: May 1, 2018 o Midget B Full Season (Quincy League) and Other Conferences / Leagues: May 1, 2018 o Learn to Play and Learn to Skate: November 1, 2018 Any Registrations submitted online without payment will be automatically deleted from the system if a credit card payment is not made within 45 minutes of submission. Waiting List Registrations received after the deadlines above or after a level is full may be placed on a waiting list, pending the availability of an appropriate roster spot. Outstanding Balances All prior seasons balances must be paid prior to acceptance of registration for the 2018/2019 season. Participation in tryouts is also prohibited if the balance is not satisfied o Failure to pay your 2018/2019 season tuition by September 1st may cause your child to be removed from his/her team until the outstanding balance has been satisfied. Tuition Policy Tuition for the 2018/2019 full season and short season teams must be paid in full prior to September 1st, 2018 or your child will not be allowed to participate. We have certain tuition incentives available for the 2018/19 season: (Incentives cannot be combined.)

2 o o Any full season skater tuition that is paid in full by May 1, 2018, will receive a $100 discount. Families with 3 full season skaters will be charged $600 for the 3 rd skater s tuition. Families requiring additional time to satisfy their tuition obligation(s) may extend their payment plan beyond September 1 st. To do so, please contact the treasurer, Paul Murphy, at wyh_pmurphy@yahoo.com to make arrangements if you will be unable to pay by this deadline. Upfront Fees for the 2018/2019 Season Tuition Skaters o Full season players at all levels, except for Full season Midget and Mite: $1,250 o Full season Mite teams: $1,150 o Full season Midget team: $1,150 o Short season teams (Midget and Girls): $625 o Learn to Play tuition: $ Goalies with their own equipment o Full season goalies at all levels: $625. o Tuition for goalies for short season teams: $325. Registration Fee NEW FOR THIS SEASON, a non refundable, non transferable deposit of $ must accompany all registration forms. Along with a Parent Awareness Form and Participant Code of Conduct Form, all of which have been provided. If your son/daughter is participating in try outs, you will asked to sign that you ve read the try out procedures All payments to Weymouth Youth Hockey are non refundable and non transferable. A $50.00 charge will be applied for any checks returned unpaid for any reason. One check payable to Weymouth Youth Hockey may be used for registration. 3 WYH General Meeting The WYH General Meeting is open to all parents, providing a forum for the membership to take part in the betterment of our program. The date and location of this meeting will be ed to members and posted on our website. Please plan to attend. USA Hockey / Mass Hockey Online Registration Tuition DOES NOT include the $48.00 Registration Fee for USA and Mass Hockey. All players will be required beginning April 1, 2018 to register online with USA/Mass Hockey and send the confirmation code to the registrar. USA/Mass hockey registrations must be received by the registrar before your first on ice session. The link to register online will be ed on April 1 and be on the Weymouth Youth Hockey website. This packet contains all the information necessary for registrations and tryouts. Please read all information. The following is an additional list that may answer some of your questions. Tryouts for all level A & B South Shore Conference teams are optional. All Players opting to tryout must attend all tryout sessions. Absences could jeopardize your placement on any team. All first year Bantam level players must attend the checking clinic. No exceptions! All forms in this packet must be filled out completely for acceptance of registration. Additional registration forms may be downloaded from the Weymouth Youth Hockey Website. Arrive early for all tryout sessions to allow for time for checking in and try out number assignments. Check in is required for all sessions. Players are not to wear team shirts or shirts with their name showing. At this time, Individuals interested in Head coaching must complete a Coaching Application form by Tuesday, April 1, Coaching applications are part of the registration packet or may be downloaded from the Weymouth Youth Hockey website. All coaches must put CEP Number on Coaches Application and must be patched at the appropriate level by December 31, All coaches must have completed the USA Hockey age specific module for the level they wish to coach.
