1 2018 Special Olympics Delaware Basketball Teams DIVISIONS Basket NOTES YOUTH (8-12) UNIFIED - DIVISION 1 WW Wolverines MOT All Stars MOT Super Stars 8' Basket After the Jamboree Bunker Hill ES will move up to Junior Unified Division giving this age group 3 total teams. These teams will play a double elimination 3 team bracket. Seedings were randomly selected. JUNIOR UNIFIED - DIVISION 1 (1) ND White (2) SR Hornets (3) WW Warriors (4) Bunker Hill ES (5) MOT Diamonds 10' Basket This group picked up a team from the 8-12 year old group, Bunker Hill ES. Also, The MOT Diamonds moved from Adult Division and the MOT Destroyers moved from the Junior Unified Division to the Adult Division. Teams in Junior Unified Division 1 will play a double elimination bracket as described on the attached bracket page. DIVISIONS ADULT DIVISIONS NOTES 3 V 3 HALF-COURT - DIVISION 1 (1) WW 76ers (2) ND Yellow (3) KW Tigers (4) SR Ripitde (5) KW Wild Kats These teams will play a bracket with consolation bracket tournament. This means that once a team loses they can at best come in 3rd place. The attached bracket shows you how that flows. Teams were ranked 1-5 randomly. ADULT UNIFIED - DIVISION 1 (1) WW All Stars (2) KW Bobcats (3) MOT Tigers These teams will play a double elimination 3 team bracket. Seedings were based on records at the Basketball Jamboree. This was based on record and then Total Point Differential (Total points against minus Total points scored ranked least to most). A 5th game will be played only if the loser of Game 4 is that team's first loss. ADULT TRADITIONAL DIVISIONS 1A & 1B (1) Networks (2) MOT Thrashers (3) WW Heat (4) SR Running Rebels (5) KW Lions (6) SR Storm (7) ND Black ADULT TRADITIONAL DIVISIONS 2A & 2B (1) WW Gryffindors (2) KW Jaguars (3) WW Devils (4) KW Leopards (5) WW Magic (6) ND Gold ADULT TRADITIONAL DIVISION 3 (1) SR Panthers (2) ND Green (3) WW Steelers (4) ND Silver (5) MOT Destroyers These teams were ranked 1-7 based on the results and information gathered from the Basketball Jamboree. This was very challenging as all of the teams played similarly with athlete levels that were closer than any others. Initially numbers 2-7 will play in a bracket (2v7, 3v6, 4v5) that will determine which FINAL Division they will be placed in. Two Final Divisions will be created and awarded separately. Networls will get a bye and be seeded #1 in Division 1. These teams were ranked 1-6 based on the results and information gathered from the Basketball Jamboree. This was very challenging as all of the teams played similarly with athlete levels that were closer than any others. Initially numbers 1-6 will play in a bracket (1v6, 2v5, 2v4) that will determine which FINAL Division they will be placed in. Two Final Divisions will be created and awarded separately. The MOT Diamonds moved from Adult Division and the MOT Destroyers moved from the Junior Unified Division to the Adult Division. Teams in Adult Traditional Division 3 will play a double elimination bracket as described on the attached bracket page.
