6 NNYYSL Scholarship Award The Northern New York Youth Soccer League is offering two scholarships, (1 male and 1 female) up to $ each, to any club member who will be attending college and meets all of the following requirements: must have a cumulative average of 85 or higher, played in the Northern NY Youth Soccer League for 3 years and has volunteered to help our soccer community grow. 8 NNY Academy- Program Program 22 Training Sessions ( Wednesdays and Sundays) December thru April 1 st Pay As You Go $10 per session plus a $50 upfront deposit. $40 of the deposit go towards the last 4 training session in March All Session take place at Indian River Middle School

15 New for 2016 There will be NO game changes allowed after the final schedule is posted Please take this into consideration when entering your team. The days of play for each division will be provided along with the Saturdays that will be used as your possible game days. Once the final schedule is posted, only the referee, league or home field sponsor can cancel a game. Only the referee can cancel or suspend a game because of the weather. Both teams must be ready to play. Any game that is not played in its entirety will be reported to the Referee Assignor who will communicate with the League Scheduler. 15

16 How to Request a Game Change Game changes will only be allowed from May 1, 2016 May 11, 2016 Coaches MUST first contact the opposing teams coach to agree on a new date and time. Each team may reschedule up to three (3) games, if necessary. The coach asking for the change must the League Scheduler, Lori Nevers at nevers13601@yahoo.com. Please use the GAME # in the subject line of the request. Include the new date, time and location with your request. Please, always start a new using the game number in the subject line. The scheduler will get approval for the game change with the Referee Assignor. Your new date and time is based on availability of the referee. If approved by the referee assignor, the change will be made on the schedule and you will receive a confirmation . A confirmation is sent automatically to everyone listed on the team application. 16

17 Days of Play Season Season Start Date: Monday: U16 Boys (Saturday, June 4 th ) Tuesday: U12 Boys (May 24 th ) U18 Girls (May 31 st ) Wednesday: U16 Girls (June 1 st ) Thursday: U12 Girls (May 26 th ) U18 Boys (June 2 nd ) Friday: U14 Boys/Girls (May 27 th ) Saturday: For all age groups, these Saturday s will be used for a game day, if needed. June 4 th / June 11 th July 9 th / July 16th All games must be completed by July 19 th to allow us time to prepare the schedules for the playoffs on Saturday, July 23rd 17

18 Referee Fee s Referee Fee s: (New fee structure) U18 - Center $68 - AR s $35 U16 - Center $62 - AR s $34 U14 - Center $52 - AR s $32 U12 - Center $42 - AR s $24 Game Cancellations/Forfeits: The team that forfeits pays the full referee fee. Payments must be mailed directly to the assigned referee s. Game Cancellations due to weather/field conditions: Only the referee, league or the home field sponsor may cancel a game. The game must be rescheduled by the coaches within one week. If no date is selected, the League Scheduler will reschedule the game. 18
