City League Programs: U4 Co-ed TimBits Program Born in $ week Co-ed program (8 Sessions once a week) All sessions start at 6:00pm Choose between: o U4 Tuesday at Dawson South, or U4 Wednesday at Oriole Park U6 TimBits Boys Born in 2011 & $ week Boys program (8 Sessions once a week) All sessions start at 6:00pm at Joseph Welsh Choose between Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings; U6 TimBits Girls Born in 2011 & $ week Girls program (8 Sessions once a week) All sessions start at 6:00pm, Joseph Welsh or Dawson Park Choose between Monday or Thursday evening; U8 FUNdamentals Born in 2009 & $ This program will follow Alberta Soccer s Grassroots preferred training model. The program will be organized by a facilitator: coaches will run facilitator-planned stations; players will rotate through the stations. Information on this preferred training model is on YouTube: Festival-style games lead by coaches will take place on four to six Saturday mornings in May and June. 2 U8 Boys Born 2009 & $ o o Monday & Wednesday OR Tuesday & Thursday U8 Girls Born 2009 & $ o Monday & Wednesday Sessions during the week will start at 6:00pm. U10 & U12 School of Soccer - $60.00 Six technical training sessions on Friday's, May 5, 12, 26, June 2, 9, 16 from 6:00pm-7:00pm. All sessions are at Edgar fields. Players must be registered in an outdoor program. Cancelled sessions due to weather will not be rescheduled. U10 Boys City League Born in 2007 & $ week Boys program; twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays; Bower Place/Oriole Park/Deer Park Time will alternate between 6:00pm and 7:15pm U10 Girls City League Born in 2007 & $ week Girls program; twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays; Bower Place/Oriole Park/Deer Park. Time will alternate between 6:00pm and 7:15pm U12 Boys City League Born in 2005 & $ week Boys program on Mondays and Wednesdays; Davenport U12 Boys **CAYSL League** Born in 2005 & $ The Central Alberta Youth Soccer League (CAYSL) is run in conjunction with surrounding communities. Playing in this league will require travel to places outside of Red Deer. Games and/or practices are planned for Tuesday and Thursday. Home games will be at the MacLean fields. Extra practices to be determined by the coach. If there is not enough interest in this program, players will be placed in the U12 Boys City League. 3 U14 Boys City League Born in 2003 & $ week Boys program on Tuesdays and Thursdays; Davenport East U14 Boys **CAYSL** League Born in 2003 & $ The Central Alberta Youth Soccer League (CAYSL) is run in conjunction with surrounding communities. Playing in this league will require travel to places outside of Red Deer. Games and/or practices are planned for Monday and Wednesday. Home games at the Ironstone field. Extra practices to be determined by the coach. If there is not enough interest in this program, players will be placed in the U14 Boys City League. Youth 12 years of age by May 15 th can ref U10 only; Youth 14 years of age or older by May 15 th can ref U10 and up. Referees courses for youth and adult occur in the spring. The cost of the course will be reimbursed once five games are reffed (youth only). Referees must ref an outdoor season before reffing an indoor season. Our coaches are our most valued volunteers and our success is dependent upon their participation. 5 Red Deer City Soccer is now home to the Renegades Soccer Club! U10 Renegades Development Boys and Girls U10 Boys Development Renegades Born 2007 & $ U10 Girls Development Renegades Born 2007 & $ Players will be evaluated in order to create equal teams Soccer shin pads & outdoor soccer cleats required; uniform will be provided. Fundraising fee either $100 instant payment or $100 deposit if participating in the raffle Season will continue past the end of June with weekly training U10 Renegades Boys: 1. Academy style technical sessions on Mondays, MacLean field 2. Games on Wednesdays and/or Saturdays 3. Weekly team practice U10 Renegades Girls: 1. Academy style technical sessions on Fridays, Edgar fields 2. Games during the week and/or Saturdays 3. Weekly team practice U11 to U17 Renegades Competitive Programs U11 to U17 involves travel to Edmonton for away games. Try-outs for U11 to U17 will be held mid-march. Check for try-out information.
