2 The National Western Stock Show has a rich history in Denver dating back to It started as a livestock show in the historic yards and now has evolved into a 16-day event featuring rodeos, horse shows, Colorado s largest Western trade show and the most prominent livestock show in the country. The National Western Center s (NWC) 250-acre campus, which will replace the aging facilities, will be built in phases over the next decade. It will be an international center of excellence in agricultural innovation, education, research, technology and imagination as well as entertainment and competition, serving the needs and interests of farmers, ranchers, tourists, researchers, students and educators around the world. As plans unfold and construction begins, we are reminded of what a truly remarkable venue this is for our 30th Annual National Show & Sale. This is a dynamic stage to publicize a superior auction line up. It is a remarkable opportunity to take home cattle that are exclusively chosen by top breeders. Any AHCA junior who purchases a breeding heifer at this year s National Sale will have the opportunity to be rewarded up to $1000 next year.
