1 Offensive Playbook Run Game: one ormation
2 one ormation his offense is based on spread formations. Of the 13 primary formations, every one features a 1- or 2-back set with Rs stretching the field. one is a special 3-back diamond-style formation, with the 2 slot Rs lined up in the backfield with the. Any play can be run out of one, but as a non-spread formation, it s unique enough to warrant two dedicated sections in the playbook (one run, one pass). one is useful in goal-line and short-yardage situations, as well as when additional or maximum pass protection is needed. It s also great for younger teams who might struggle with the spread.
