2 AQUATHERM AGAIN NUMBER ONE IN THE INDUSTRY: ATTENDORNER COMPANY HONORED AS WORLD MARKET LEADER 2018 aquatherm is one of the world s leading companies - officially. Meier Entrepreneurial School of the University of St. Gallen and the Academy of German World Market Leaders (ADWM). Since 2016, the family business has been represented there. For this reason, he sets strict criteria that must be met in order to obtain a place in the world market leader index of the prestigious university. 3 1000 TONS CLAMPING FORCE AND FULLY AUTOMATIC NEW INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE AT THE ATTENDORN SITE aquatherm has expanded its machine park: Since the beginning of December, a new injection molding machine has been producing fully automatically large-sized parts from 90 to 250 mm. With a clamping force of 1000 tons and a maximum injection weight of nine kilograms, it is one of the largest machines that has found its place in the new injection molding department, which opened in the summer. In total, 35 machines now manufacture fi ttings in different dimensions. Thanks to the machine, which has been tailored to our products, we can serve the market even better, explains Stefan Kruse, head of the injection molding department.

4 Edition No th January 2019 AQUATHERM IS PART OF THE WORLD CUP PRODUCTS ALREADY INSTALLED IN THREE STADIUMS IN QATAR Preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar are in full swing. aquatherm is in the midst of it and has already installed its products in three soccer stadiums. The Khalifa International Stadium in Qatar s capital Doha has already been renovated: it now offers space for 40,000 visitors and was equipped with aquatherm green pipe in the dimensions of 20 to 250 mm in the area of drinking water supply and public facilities. The Al Bayt Stadium will be rebuilt in Al Khor, about 50 kilometers north of Doha. Here aquatherm green pipe was installed as well, in this case in the dimensions mm. And also in the Ras Abu Aboud Stadium, also in Doha, the entire drinking water supply is realized with aquatherm pipes. Another sports facility, the Lusail Iconic Stadium, will be equipped with aquatherm blue pipe for refrigeration in addition to aquatherm green pipe. Volker Köhler, aquatherm Sales Area Manager for Africa and the Middle East, got a first impression of the construction work on site: I am very satisfied with the results so far and I am convinced that the 2022 World Cup will be a very special event.
