MARINE SURVEYOR MARINE CONSULTANT 38 OAK HILL LANE ELKTON, MD APPRAISAL REPORT REPORT NO. xxxx AUGUST 4, 2017 TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: This is to certify that the undersigned surveyor attended the sailboat at the request of xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, in the water at Henderson s Wharf, 1001 Fell Street, Baltimore, Maryland, 21231, on the 4 th day of August in the year 2017, and did inspect said vessel to determine the appraised value of said vessel. The sailboat is Passport Vista 470 center cockpit, built by Xiamen Hansheng Yacht Building Co., Ltd., located at No. 18, Paitou Road, Haicang, Xiamen, China, , and imported by Passport Yachts East, Inc, located at 326 First Street, Suite 404, Annapolis, Maryland, 21403, (telephone number ), in the year 2013, as hull identification number xxxxxxxxxxxx. The vessel s approximate measurements are: LOA 47 0, LWL 39 1, BEAM 14 2, DRAFT 5 7, BALLAST 11,000 lbs., and DISPLACEMENT 30,611 lbs. The vessel s documentation number is xxxxxxx, which expired 7/31/17. The vessel s name is xxxxxxxxxxxxx. The owner listed on the documentation is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. ALL MAJOR HULL MEMBERS, wherever accessible, together with all surfaces, joints, bonds, fillets, webs, bulkheads, and hard curve areas were carefully inspected with particular care being devoted to areas of normal stress concentrations and possible bulkheads or other hard spots. Field methods of sounding and visual sighting were used. Also, the use of a moisture meter to determine the moisture content of the hull, decks, and other areas which could retain moisture causing damage to the vessel. HULL CONSTRUCTION: the vessel has a solid fiberglass hull, hand laminated, using DBM stitched biaxial fabrics in conjunction with vinylester and isophthalic resin in hull layup. Ashland Maxguard gelcoat applied on all exterior fiberglass surfaces. A matrix of longitudinal and transverse foam cored stringers using DBM stitched biaxial fabrics in the lower hull and hull sides provide maximum hull stiffness. Internal lead ballast glassed into a fixed modified fin keel (no keel bolts) with choice of drafts. Balanced full skeg mounted rudder, with internal stainless steel rudderpost and integral stainless steel reinforcement. The deck structure is a composite construction using closed cell Divinycell foam coring. All deck hardware areas are reinforced using high density Divinycell H200 closed cell foam. No wood coring is used anywhere. All deck hardware is through bolted using stainless steel backing plates and bolts. 3 APPRAISAL REPORT #XXX PAGE 2 of 13 HULL CONSTRUCTION (cont.) a) The fiberglass to resin ratio is good. b) The resin appears to have cured well. c) The foredeck is solid and in good, structural condition. d) The catwalks are solid and in good, structural condition. e) The main cabin top is solid and in good, structural condition. f) The aft cabin top is solid and in good, structural condition. g) The cockpit deck is solid and in good, structural condition.

4 APPRAISAL REPORT #XXX PAGE 3 of 13 HULL CONSTRUCTION (cont.) h) The aftdeck is solid and in good, structural condition. i) The hull runs fair with no defects or damage noted. j) The transom appears to be solid. k) The bulkheads appear to be in good condition. l) The mast base is in good condition with no deflection. m) The deck supports accessible for inspection appear to be in good order. n) The hull stringers accessible for inspection appear to be in good order.

5 APPRAISAL REPORT #XXX PAGE 4 of 13 HULL CONSTRUCTION (cont.) o) The tabbing that was accessible for inspection all appears to be well secured and in good order. p) The engine bed is in good condition with no signs of separation or structural fatigue. q) The interior is clean and shows well. MACHINERY: said vessel s auxiliary power is a 4 cylinder 75 horsepower Yanmar, RCD4JH4TX2, fresh water cooled, diesel engine. The engine s serial number is xxxxxx. The engine is in good condition. All hoses and components are in good condition.

6 APPRAISAL REPORT #XXX PAGE 5 of 13 GENERATOR: Mase generator I.S.7.1 with a soundshield. All appears to be in good order and properly installed. STEERING SYSTEM: pedestal steering system. All fittings that were accessible for inspection appear to be in good order. BOW THRUSTER: the vessel is equipped with a Side thruster. What was accessible for inspection appear to be in good order. SHAFT PACKING GLAND: compression type packing gland. The rubber is in satisfactory condition.

7 APPRAISAL REPORT #XXX PAGE 6 of 13 SHAFT: 1.5 stainless steel shaft. What was accessible for inspection appear to be in good condition. RIGGING: the vessel is a cutter rig with two Furlex roller furling systems for the headsail and staysail and roller furling system for the main. The Harkin self-tailing winches are well secured and in good condition. The turnbuckles and fittings are in good, structural condition. FUEL SYSTEM: the vessel is equipped with two aluminum fuel tanks. The hoses appear to be in good condition. The fuel tanks accessible for inspection appear to be in good order.

8 APPRAISAL REPORT #XXX PAGE 7 of 13 ELECTRICAL: 12 VOLT SYSTEM - negative ground system with a circuit breaker panel, Blue Seas battery selector switches, and a 30 amp Victron battery charger/inverter. The vessel is equipped with four AGM batteries, which appear to be new. I did not detect any wiring violations or safety hazards with the 12 volt system. 120 VOLT SYSTEM the 50 amp shore power system meets ABYC standards and appear to be in good order. WIND GENERATOR: Sun Force wind generator, which appears to be in good condition.

9 APPRAISAL REPORT #XXX PAGE 8 of 13 AIR CONDITIONER: 16,000 BTU Cruisair unit, serial number All accessible for inspection appear to be in good order. GALLEY: the appliances appear to have been properly installed. The galley is equipped with double stainless steel sinks, Princess Gourmet II three burner stove with oven, Frigoboat refrigeration unit, and a GE microwave oven. HEADS: two marine toilets. All appear to be in good order. PLUMBING: the fresh water pump, raw water pump, and shower sump pump appears to be properly installed and in good order. The seacocks appear to be in good order.

10 APPRAISAL REPORT #XXX PAGE 9 of 13 ELECTRONICS: the electronics appear to have been properly installed. The vessel is equipped with Raymarine depth finder, knot meter, and wind, Raymarine hydraulic autopilot, Raymarine radar/chart plotter, and Ritchie pedestal mount compass. \

11 APPRAISAL REPORT #XXX PAGE 10 of 13 CANVAS: the bimini and dodger are in good condition. GROUND TACKLE: 60 lb. chrome plated anchor with chain. WINDLASS: 12 volt Muir windlass, which appears to be well secured and properly installed.

The hull holds a good shine and no damage or repairs were noted at the time of my inspection. There appears to have very little signs of use as far as the engine and rigging. CONCLUSION With consideration given to the condition of the vessel, optional equipment, market condition, and the use of the BUC Book, it is hereby my professional opinion that an appraised value for said vessel can be placed at $564, This report is for the sole purpose of obtaining a fair market value and is in no way to be considered for marine insurance or purchase consideration.
