MARINE SURVEYOR MARINE CONSULTANT 38 OAK HILL LANE ELKTON, MD SURVEY REPORT PURCHASE SURVEY SURVEY NO. xxxx NOVEMBER 7, 2017 TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: This is to certify that the undersigned surveyor at the request of xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, attended the powerboat in and out of the water on the 7 th of November in the year 2017, at the foot of Springdale Avenue, Annapolis, Maryland, and did inspect said vessel for Mr. xxxxxxxx, while representing his interest as the prospective buyer. The vessel is a Parker 2120 sport cabin, built by Parker Marine Enterprises, located at 2570 NC Highway 101, Beaufort, North Carolina, (telephone number and in the year 2009, as hull identification number xxxxxxxxxxxx. The vessel s approximate measurements are: LOA 21 0, BEAM 8 6, HULL DRAFT 1 3, and DRY WEIGHT 3,250 lbs. The vessel s registration number is xxxxxxxx. ALL MAJOR HULL MEMBERS, wherever accessible, together with all surfaces, joints, bonds, fillets, webs, bulkheads, and hard curve areas were carefully inspected with particular care being devoted to areas of normal stress concentrations and possible bulkheads or other hard spots. Field methods of sounding and visual sighting were used. Also, the use of a moisture meter to determine the moisture content of the hull, decks, and other areas which could retain moisture causing damage to the vessel. HULL CONSTRUCTION: the vessel was built on a fiberglass deep-v hull and constructed with resin and fiberglass mat. The hull s exterior finishing is a gel coat glazing. The deck is of a plywood core with waterproof glue and fiberglass construction. The transom is fiberglass over plywood. I have noted the following: a) The bulkheads appear to be in good condition. b) The tabbing accessible for inspection appears to be in good order and well secured to the hull supports and structural members. 5 PURCHASE SURVEY #XXX PAGE 2 of 17 HULL CONSTRUCTION (cont.) c) The foredeck is solid and in good, structural condition. d) Both catwalks are solid and are in good, structural condition. e) The cabin top is solid and in good, structural condition. f) The aft deck is solid and in good, structural condition. g) The bridge deck is solid and in good, structural condition. h) The hull appears to run fair with no signs of distortion or defects. i) No visual signs of blisters on the bottom of the hull. No voids were found in the layup of the bottom. No signs of major repair, damage, or hard groundings.

6 PURCHASE SURVEY #XXX PAGE 3 of 17 HULL CONSTRUCTION (cont.) j) The transom is solid. k) Where accessible for inspection, the hull to deck seam appears to be in good condition with no signs of separation. l) The deck supports accessible for inspection appear to be in good order. m) The pan system is well secured with no signs of structural weakness or separation from the hull. n) The interior shows well. There are some stains and mildew on the hull liner. MACHINERY: said vessel is powered by a single 150 horsepower, Yamaha F150TXR outboard motor. The motor s serial number is xxxxxxx. The motor appears to be in good condition and well secured to the transom. Refer to the sea trial for operation.

7 PURCHASE SURVEY #XXX PAGE 4 of 17 PROP: three-blade stainless steel prop, which is in good condition. When tested, the blades ran out true. TRIM TABS: Lenco electric trim tabs. The starboard tab did not work. STEERING SYSTEM: Sea Star hydraulic steering system. The tiller arms, pins, linkage, and other mechanical fittings accessible for inspection appear to be in good condition. However, there was a fluid leak at the pump. Refer to the sea trial for operation. ELECTRONICS: the vessel is not equipped with any electronics. The Ritchie compass is in good condition. VENTILATION: does meet all requirements as per ABYC standard H The ventilation system is natural forced air.

8 PURCHASE SURVEY #XXX PAGE 5 of 17 FUEL SYSTEM: the vessel is equipped with one aluminum fuel tank. I have noted the following: a) The deck fill port is properly marked as per ABYC standard H b) The tank is vented. The vent hose is in fair condition. c) The fuel fill hose is type A-2 hose. The hose is in fair condition. One end of the hose is double hose clamped. The intake port is not accessible. d) The fuel feed hose is type A-1 hose. The hose is in fair condition. e) The fuel tank is installed in the bilge. ABYC standard H states that metal tanks shall be installed where they cannot be reached by normal accumulation of bilge water in the static floating position. I would recommend having the fuel tank pressure tested. f) The fuel tank is grounded.

9 PURCHASE SURVEY #XXX PAGE 6 of 17 FUEL SYSTEM (cont.) g) Fuel fittings are mounted within 24 of the battery and selector switch. ABYC standard E states that an electrical component is isolated from a gasoline fuel source if the distance between the electrical component and the fuel source is at least two feet, and the space is open to the atmosphere. ELECTRICAL: 12 VOLT SYSTEM - negative ground system with a circuit breaker panel and one Guest battery switch, which is in good working order. I have noted the following: a) The vessel is equipped with two Series 27 acid plate batteries. b) The batteries are secured to the hull as per ABYC standard E The positive terminal ends are covered as per ABYC standard E

10 PURCHASE SURVEY #XXX PAGE 7 of 17 ELECTRICAL (cont.) c) I did not detect any wiring violations and/or safety hazards with the 12 volt system. 120 VOLT SYSTEM none. BILGE PUMP: the aft bilge is equipped with a Rule 1500 pump with a float switch. The pump is secured to the hull. The pump is properly wired. The pump did work. The discharge hose is in good condition. BILGE: water in the bilge at time of my inspection. FIRE PROTECTION: ABYC standard A-4 Table II states that a vessel 21 in length is required to be equipped with two B-1 type, U.S.C.G. approved fire extinguishers or ABC fire

11 PURCHASE SURVEY #XXX PAGE 8 of 17 FIRE PROTECTION (cont.) extinguishers mounted in the following locations: steering position and galley, if equipped with a stove, or passenger cockpit. No fire extinguishers were mounted at time my inspection. No smoke or carbon monoxide detectors were installed. NAVIGATION LIGHTS: the green and red bow light and 32 point white light worked. PLUMBING: none SEACOCK AND THRU-HULL FITTINGS: the vessel is not equipped with any seacocks. The thru-hull fittings are in good condition. GALLEY: none. HEAD: the vessel is equipped with a port-a-pottie. No comments. DECK HARDWARE: the deck hardware, such as cleats, chocks, and railing, are well bonded to the hull. As part of routine maintenance, the deck hardware should be pulled and rebedded in a polysulfide compound.

12 PURCHASE SURVEY #XXX PAGE 9 of 17 PORTS AND HATCHES: I have noted the following: a) The forward hatch is well secured and in good condition. b) The two plastic ports are in satisfactory condition. c) The sliding windows are in good condition. d) The fixed windows are in good condition. e) The anchor hatch is in good condition. f) The deck hatches are in good condition. CANVAS: the drop curtain appears to be in satisfactory condition. GROUND TACKLE: Danforth anchor with three strand nylon line. The ground tackle is in good condition and properly sized for said vessel. SWIM PLATFORM: the small fiberglass platform is well secured and in good condition. There are stain marks below the outboard mounting bolt, which may indicates some leakage.

14 PURCHASE SURVEY #XXX PAGE 11 of 17 SEA TRIAL REPORT On November 7, 2017, I attended the sea trial that was performed on the Parker 2120, hull identification number xxxxxxxxxxxx, while representing the interest of Mr. xxxxxxxx. I have noted the following: MOTOR The motor reached a maximum of 5,200 rpms. There was no shaft vibration or unusual noises. The motor gauges (GPH, volts, and rpms) worked. The alternator charged at 14.0 volts. The motor reached a temperature of 165 F. The transmission shifted well, and I did not have any trouble finding forward, neutral, or reverse.

17 PURCHASE SURVEY #XXX PAGE 14 of 17 RECOMMENDATIONS SAFETY ISSUES AND ITEMS FOR STRUCTURAL REPAIR a) Repair the steering system. b) Install new extinguishers. Install smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. ITEMS TO REPAIR OR REPLACE a) Repair the trim tab. b) Replace the wiper blades. c) Replace the zincs on the trim tabs. d) Clean mold and stain from hull liner.

18 PURCHASE SURVEY #XXX PAGE 15 of 17 PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE a) As part of a preventive maintenance program, I would suggest rebedding all deck hardware, ports windows and hatches with polysulfide compound. b) Bottom sample fuel tank and pressure test. Have the tank scrubbed if necessary. c) Rebed motor mount at transom with polysulfide compound d) Keep bilge dry at all times. e) Rebed the swim platform to the transom. a) Supply a 25 lb. plow anchor with chain. SURVEYOR S SUGGESTIONS this is not part of the report b) Supply a 3/8 x 30 snubbing line with a fishing float to attach to the anchor. c) Install a GPS compo with depth, AIS and chart. d) Install a manual marine head with a bladder tank and a deck pump out port. e) Install VHF radio.

19 PURCHASE SURVEY #XXX PAGE 16 of 17 COMMENTS At the time of the inspection, the weather was partly cloudy. Due to the morning dampness, moisture readings could not be taken. By the time the boat was hauled, it was pouring, so accurate readings could not be obtained. The vessel shows the normal signs of wear and tear for a vessel of its age, and overall, appears to be structurally sound at the time of my inspection. Since the aluminum fuel tank is in the bilge, I strongly suggest a bottom sample and pressure testing of the fuel tank. Also, as stated, keep the bilge dry at all times. CONCLUSION Said vessel is suitable for the manufacturer s intended purpose. With consideration given to the condition of the vessel, optional equipment, market condition, and the use of the BUC Book, it is hereby my professional opinion that an appraised value for said vessel can be placed at $33,
