1 Secrets Papagayo Resorts & Spas, Phone: WEATHER AND PACKING LIST Although the Gulf of Papagayo enjoys variable amounts of precipitation year round, heat, sun and perspiration are practically guaranteed in Costa Rica s Northwest Pacific region. During the day, temperatures range between the sizzling upper 80s to lower 90s, while at night they are usually in the upper 70s. When packing for your vacation to the Papagayo area, make sure to bring a swimsuit and beach clothes, including flip flops and a towel or sarong for sunbathing on the sand, shorts, t- shirts, some rain gear, a lot of sunblock and aloe vera gel to relieve the pain of any nasty sunburns

Sunday, May 14, 2017 Arrival of the Champions! 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Welcome Reception at the Sugar Reef Monday, May 15, 2017 Group Excursion 8:00 a.m. Meet in the Upper Lobby prior to departure 8:15 a.m. Departure Join us as we travel through the Costa Rican countryside, learning about native wildlife and fauna. We will initially travel by bus, disembarking in the Palo Verde National Park to board a meandering river cruise that will allow us to experience tropical nature. Keep your hands and feet in the boat and all times! We will get off the boat at the Hacienda El Viejo Plantation and enjoy the hospitality of our local hosts. We ll see a working sugar plantation and enjoy the local cuisine before we board the bus home. Apprx. 6 hours Wednesday, May 17, 2017 Group Excursion 1:45 p.m. Meet on the water sports beach in front of the Seaside Grill 2:00 p.m. Departure Join us as we explore the shores of Peninsula Papagayo in a comfortable snorkeling catamaran. This is a wonderful opportunity to see spectacular marine life. We will have an opportunity to anchor and disembark on one of the unspoiled Pacific beaches, where you can snorkel, or relax and do some shell collecting. This will be an unforgettable experience.
