2 Elite Custom- designed and built (2006) to a superior standard Emperor Elite is a 38 metre, wooden hull boat accommodating a maximum of 24 guests. The boat has 11 twin- berth cabins and a double master suite, all with en- suite and air conditioning. For added comfort, and lighter luggage, each guest enjoys two towels and a bathrobe. Hairdryers, Mini bar, TV, Interchangeable DVD viewing available in each cabin. Elite has three sundecks, a dive deck with platform, a hot tub, two air- conditioned salons with an entertainment system: TV/Video/DVD/CD and an air- conditioned dining room. WI- FI is available onboard but is subject to signal availability. She is also equipped for tech diving + nitrox and, as with all Emperor Fleet boats, are guaranteed to carry a minimum of two dive guides. The Seasafe missing diver locator system is available for all divers onboard Elite. 3 Simply the Best The route Simply the Best departs from Marsa Alam or Hurghada and covers Brothers Islands - Daedalus - Elphinstone. Brothers Islands and Daedalus make up the northern marine park. These two reef systems are in the middle of the Red Sea and their lighthouses have warned passing ships throughout the years of the dangers that hide beneath the waves. This tour ends with a visit to Elphinstone, just off the shores of Marsa Alam. Brothers is the first stop on the tour. Sailing overnight means you wake up where the action is. Little Brother is the stage for shark diving, whilst Big Brother offers the wrecks of Numidia and Aida. Giant gorgonians grow at precarious angles from the wall and cornet fish follow divers, hunting in their shadows. Another overnight journey takes you to Daedalus Reef. Daedalus is a huge triangular chunk of a reef, with amazing vertical drop offs, giant hard coral structures, and a garden of beautiful anemones, whose damsel residents dart between tentacles. Hammerheads school in the blue and individuals can also be seen visiting cleaning stations. They are often found around the northern tip, especially in the spring months. Thresher and grey reefs sharks skirt the edges of the southern plateau. Rounding off the week is Elphinstone reef, completing a trio of unparalleled wall dive destinations. Elphinstone has earned a reputation in recent years as the place to see oceanic white tips and mantas pass over the northern plateau, together with grey reef sharks. Barracuda, snapper and tuna are usual residents seen on all sites. Drifting on currents, diving can be fast paced and an SMB is essential. Photographers are advised to to bring a wide angle lens, but macro life is also rich and plentiful. The Marine Park islands are remote and the lighthouse crews are always pleased to offer visitors a glass of hot tea.

The dive leader or boat captain that is in charge of the trip always has the right to change the contents of the trip due to weather, political decisions, or other acts that lie outside of their control that can affect the customers or ships safety. Extra baggage Due to the ever- increasing restrictions placed on checked- in baggage on flights, overweight/ extra baggage must be reported to and accepted by, the flight company. We will happily assist you to book you extra weight that is required. Please note that prices and baggage allowance varies between flight companies. The price that you pay departing the Nordic region may not be the same as the price you pay to bring your baggage home again. Important: Your passport must be valid for longer than six months after the date of your arrival home. It must also be whole and have at least two empty pages. All divers must have a dive certificate, dive logbook, proof of dive insurance, a dive computer and a Surface Marker Buoy. Requirements for divers and recommendations: Diving in the Red Sea suits all levels of divers, but we recommend that divers have an OW certificate or its equivalent and a minimum of 10 logged dives

6 How can I pay for my trip? Via bank- giro or a bank transfer VISA, Mastercard and Eurocard (we require a power of attorney in order to process the payment) Use WASA financing to pay for your trip in installments.
