2 The geographic location of Peniche, over the Atlantic Ocean, makes this small corner of land a worldwide reference destination for Surfing Travellers. Here, the consistency of the waves is assured: being a peninsula, it can deliver quality waves with almost all swell and wind direction. Here you don t have to fear the flat and on-shore days, you can surf every day of the year in a 10/15km radius. This is where the famous wave of Supertubos breaks, a true Portuguese surfing Ex Libris. Its deep barrels breaking over shallow sand bars take thousands of people from all over the world to Peniche every year in October, to see the world s best surfing it. For more restrained surfers, Peniche also offers perfect conditions for a safe and fun development of their surfing skills. The notorious Peniche Bay is a sandy beach of 2,5km in length, presenting an unmatched prevalence of beginner suited waves..

3 HALIOTIS SURF ADVENTURES PROJECT This project began as a diving centre that opened in Peniche and eventually expanded to Sesimbra, Santa Maria and Faial (Azores), always betting on the quality of the service provided. Today, Haliotis is an internationally renowned company in the diving world. And it s in Peniche, again, that this project grows once more, through the creation of our Surf School and Camp. Our unique location and facilities, combined with our vision of quality brought by our experience in diving, lead to the creation of the Surf Camp, ideal for surfers of all levels. Equipped with classrooms, we have all the conditions to host all the knowledge development sessions for our courses, as well as holding surf instructor courses, as we do for diving. We are the first Portuguese company to provide a specialized and professional service of Diving and Surfing combination.

4 We offer all kinds of accommodation, of all types, from a simple guesthouse up to apartments & townhouses in the popular Praia Del Rey Beach & Golf Resort. Our Guesthouse can hold up to 17 persons divided by suite s and rooms for 3, 4 or 5 persons. With free wireless internet and TV in all bedrooms, the Guesthouse is situated near the centre of Peniche so that you can walk to go out at night or shopping. Our Surf base is located at a mere five minutes drive from there and all the transfers are included. All of the main surfing spots are also a short drive away, and a few are even a mere short walk distant.
