1 Real Life owner page: additions Nov Tom from London, UK (GTE) Before my accident I was a big traveller and it's thanks to this chair that I'm able to continue this outward bound lifestyle. The light weight means people can very easily lift me and the chair over any obstacles and up the occasional flight of stairs. I've managed to get on and off public transport and around major cities in Mexico, Brazil and Sri Lanka without any problems. We take long walks on beaches and through forests which would otherwise be impossible. Thank you so much Trekinetic!! Rebecca from the Shropshire, UK (GTE) When I became paralysed from a horse racing fall back in 1995, the thought of being in a wheelchair, confined to concrete and unable to access the great outdoors filled me with depression. Thanks to the Trekinetic, it feels like the whole world is available for me to explore. I use it every day, whatever the weather, to exercise my dogs. We use the labyrinth of bridle paths and footpaths to explore Shropshire and beyond. Because of its compact design I'm able to put it in the boot of my car using a hoist and go off on my own wherever and whenever I want. I have found it to be extremely reliable and tough and can cope with almost any terrain. I have even been to the summit of the Wrekin, a 1000' Shropshire landmark, in it. It turns on a sixpence and can go through some types of kissing gate. If it could go over styles I'd be even happier but some local councils are slowly replacing stiles with gates. It often attracts the attention of people who are interested in engineering and design and they are fascinated and impressed by it. The tyres are also a talking point. I'm delighted with the Trekinetic because its trustworthy, reliable and it keeps me sane by getting me out into the countryside.

3 I have now had my chair for approaching two years and it really has made such a huge difference to all our lives not just mine. I still get stopped by people who continually admire my mode of transport and want to know more. Young people just love it and I often hear words like 'wow, did you see that it's so cool' and even the physios are warming to it. A recent visit to the Chilterns MS Centre by the Countess of Wessex the chair met with approval. At the weekend I put a collection of photos together and turned it into a video so I can post it on our Facebook page and people can see how much we get up to! John and Jenny from Yorkshire, UK (K2) A message to let you know how we got on in Australia / New Zealand with the K2 Obviously, as the intention is to use the K2 regularly and go holiday with the chair, we started off as we meant to continue!! We d had the practice run as you know, then we immediately left for 6 weeks travelling around Australia and New Zealand with a brief detour to Indonesia. The K2 has successfully tackled all challenges:- (see photo s to confirm) Long haul flights to Australia and transit at Singapore and then home again N.B. Singapore Airlines were superb and handled the K2 according to Trekinetic guidelines. Several Ferries around Sydney and on rivers in various cities and in the outback. Cars, trains, funicular railway, cable cars, taxis, mini vans and buses was well as being pushed around most of the major cities on walkabout. Hotels, several restaurants, Cruise Ship, theatres, opera house, fire works display, museums, airports, railway stations, wildlife parks, cricket grounds. It s been off-roading in the Outback, Blue Mountains and geo-thermal areas in New Zealand + rain forest, board walks and tracks. Met various creatures - kangaroos, wallabies (very inquisitive see photo) crocodiles, reptiles, owls, cassowaries K2 has been the centre of attention wherever we went it s literally stopped traffic! It s been photographed by Japanese, Australians and New Zealanders who wanted to know where they could find out more about the chair for relatives and who the manufacturers were gave them the name and told them to find the website. Judging by the amount of casual interest, there would appear to be a potential for sales in Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Comments we got included: Cool machine!: Never seen one like it Bl***dy h**l! It s a mountain bike: Hey! You ve got Cross Country tyres: Looks like a Transformer: That way s not wheelchair accessible Oh! You did it! (Blue Mountains)

4 You ll never get it up there girl how did you do that? You re not even puffing!! (Geo-Thermal N.Z.) So easy, so flexible! (from a man in New Zealand who liked the idea for his Mum and tried John s chair out in a shop). The chair assistants on the ship called it the Formula 1 and argued who was going to drive it. Always well received wherever we went. Robert from North Yorkshire UK (K2) I've had my Trekinetic chair for 3 years now and I'm still in love with it. It generates interest and admiration wherever I go. It's not the chair for you if you're the shy and retiring type. Since getting the chair I've been many places that previously I would not even have considered accessible in a conventional chair. I have, in the last year, taken up archery.(i attach a couple of pics.). The chair makes it easy to get right up to the target to see how I'm shooting and collect my own arrows. Other wheelchair archers need an assistant to to achieve this. Another little slice of independence won. I'd love to see more of these chairs about because that'll mean that other wheelchair users "get it".. Harry from Holland (K2) Hello there,

Gill from Skipton UK (K2) Just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you so much, the chair is amazing and I don't think until you actually own the chair you realise it's versatility and usefulness. It's truly amazing.thank you! Mike from the UK (K2) Pictures used with kind permission of Disabled Motoring UK magazin,. I saw this advert in DMUK for a three wheeled wheelchair! I looked at the Trekinetic website and watched the videos and my wife and I decided we should try it out. We had three criteria: 1) It must travel over rough ground. 2) It must travel over long wet grass. 3) Most importantly, so I can get onto the beach with my grandchildren, it must get though soft sand. Lee from Recare brought a K2 to our home and we explained what we needed it to do and said we also needed to go to Llansteffan about half an hour away for the sand test. Lee had no problems with our requests. In the K2 I went over rough ground and long wet grass with no bother. The only very minor problem was that you use different muscle groups to move this chair compared to my Quickie. Then off to Llansteffan. I had not been on a beach for over twenty years and apart from about two feet up the ramp onto the beach when my wife helped me, I got through the soft sand on my own, not easily, but I did get through. Then I charged around on the wet, but semi solid sand.we paid the deposit straight away and I was over the moon! I can get to all the places I couldn't get to before. Forget your box on wheels! Try it, It will be an experience you will never forget, I certainly won't. I now use my K2 up in Brechfa Forest whenever weather permits..
