Without our sponsored clubs, volunteers, dealers, corporate sponsors and the extra efforts of our Hunt Committee the Southern Ontario Hunt would not be as successful as it has been over the years.

6 Without our sponsored clubs, volunteers, dealers, corporate sponsors and the extra efforts of our Hunt Committee the Southern Ontario Hunt would not be as successful as it has been over the years. We thank everyone who helped collect and obtain donation prizes for our hunt! We had 122 participants this year from Ontario, New York, Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Washington, DC. There was a lot of positive feedback by previous and new participants, as well as some newbies to the hobby of metal detecting the weather held up great a little sprinkle from time to time a pot-luck dinner back at the camp grounds on Saturday evening, and this year we added a night hunt it was a lot of fun and we can thank Janet Whitelaw who spear headed this event thanks Janet! We attribute the Hunt s success primarily to the many individuals who volunteered their time and efforts along with the enthusiasm that all our participants bring to the hobby of metal detecting. Don t forget.you make the difference! There are four categories for the Best Find s of the Year Board Best Jewellery, Best Coin, Best Relic and Best Miscellaneous Item.
