Monthly Gatherings Join us at our next monthly gathering at the Family Kitchen in Adrian! Family Kitchen is located at: 2984 Treat Street Adrian, MI (Intersection of Treat & US-223) Our Monthly Gathering is held the 2nd Sunday of the Month. 8:30am for social time & breakfast. Come and enjoy the camaraderie of your fellow GWRRA Members and our Chapter W Family! Our next Gathering is April 12th 9:30am with breakfast first at 8:30. Gold Wing Road Riders Association Friends for Fun, Safety and Knowledge! Bob and I would like to thank everyone who took the time to attend the installation of Bob and Marcia Kinsey as CDs Fred and Randa Probst as Assistant CDs of MI Chapter W. The chapter members that took new positions in the chapter, and the members who continue to keep the positions that they held while Ken and Patti were C.D.s Thank you so much. Remember this is not the Kinsey and Probst Chapter this chapter is made up of all that belong to Chapter W. If you have any questions or suggestions please contact us we will do our best to answer any questions you may have and to consider any suggestions. Remember we are not perfect,we will do the very best we can so please be patient. Congrats to all our winners, Don Stoddard for winning the district raffle tickets, Larry Reiner the 50/50 ( sorry Scott ) And no one won the chapter pride ( sorry Nancy ) Bob Natter introduced us to a new way to play 50/50 we had a winner who graciously donated his winnings to our Toy Run thank you ( Ron Smith ). Also the Oogley award was located and Cal Deline was the winner again. Wonder who might be the lucky winner next month keep your eyes and ears open. Remember we need your help to put together a new phone tree, anyone interested in being a callers let us know at the next gathering. We also would like to see if anyone is interested in designing a new Toy Run Flier, use your imagination and see what you can come up with. Also what dates would work for the Fish Fry and Campout in Aug. we have two dates the 15 th of Aug or the 29 th,we are planning on going back to the Totem Pole unless someone has a different location we are open to suggestions. We are so excited to get started on this riding season I think we all can say we are TIRED of this cold. Let the fun and sun begin. If you plan on going to the next two dinner rides 3/11 Bob Evans Adrian and 3/18 Country House Tecumseh please call Marcia at the number listed below Fred and Randa will be on vacation in the Sun Shine State. We want to thank Fred and Randa for choosing the dinner rides for March. Please consider picking the dinner rides for a month if you are afraid that you may not be able to attend each Wed. night dinner, no problem as long as you call, some of us will be able to lead the ride. We would love to have some new suggestions for restaurants if you know of a place please let us know. 5 March 8th 2015 Assistant District Directors, Bob & Nancy Natter, 2014 District COY Gary & Carol Williams and guests from Chapters J, C, H2 were present for the installations. Our new officers were installed - Bob & Marcia Kinsey Chapter Directors and Fred & Randa Probst as our Assistant CDs. Former patches were given to Ken, & Patti Kintner and Tanya White for serving the members as CDs and ACD. Ride Coordinator, Cal DeLine confessed to riding a rented Harley on a bike path to receive the Oogley Award! Page 5
