Come and enjoy the camaraderie of your fellow GWRRA Members and our Chapter W Family! Our next Gathering is July The Adrian Armory Event Center Gold Wing Road Riders Association Friends for Fun, Safety and Knowledge! Hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far. We ve had our first full month of riding to our dinner rides on Wednesday nights. There have been some beautiful nights for riding, and dinners, once we got there. Speaking of dinner rides, don t be afraid to pick them. It s really a very painless thing to do. Try it you might like it. If you haven t already registered for the District Rally, it s not too late. Get your registration in, and go have a good time with old friends, and new ones. Don t forget to get your Safari Passbook if you haven t yet got it. I hear that there might be some rides at the Rally for some of the destinations in the passbook. The Chapter is trying to setup some rides for some of those destinations too. 3 Summer in Michigan, The calendar only says spring, but we ve had some hot, sunny weather and great biking weather. Don t forget the Michigan Road Safari we ve been to three of the places and had fun while talking to new friends. Rider Courses have been going well, but there s still room for more participants. We ll be at the Oakland County Courthouse in Pontiac on June 9 th, Grayling on June 30 th, and Sault Ste Marie on July 7 th. No classes have been cancelled at the present time, although we have no one signed up for TRC in Pontiac. We have been informed that some of you are sharing with other members that classes in Grayling have been cancelled this is not true. Please read the Rider Course Registration form; it explains that you will be notified by a confirmation two weeks before the requested course. If you wish to sign up on short notice, simply call us and ask if there is room still available. We will tell you on the phone and then send you a confirmation . If you are worried that we have not received your registration, simply us at the address on the form: michrider@gmail.com and we will respond. Also, do not expect your check to be cashed prior to the class we reserve the right to accept cancellations and refund your money. We cannot refund your money as Rider Education does not have separate account; it is easier to send your check back to you if scheduling conflicts arise and you notify us prior to the class. The latest copy of the Officers Insight Newsletter can be found online at oconnect/newsletter.html is available. Our GWRRA President Anita suggests that we send out the printout of chapter members levels information to the Chapter Directors. So we will be sharing that with each Chapter Director in a separate . Please remember that this information is only to be shared with the individual member. As officers we ve all signed a Confidentiality Agreement of Member Information, and Levels Information is not to be shared with any other member.
