In February it was awarded to Leroy D. If you are not riding, you are not winning. Hello Chapter T, as you can see we are not with you this evening. We are attending the Region H Three Wing Circus in Marshall, TX with friends. Wish you were here with us to enjoy this Big Top event. Please be nice to Bob as he conducts the gathering tonight. Speaking of that we are in big need for some of you to step up and shoulder some of the responsibility to keep the chapter rolling along down the road. We need an Assistant Chapter Director to assist when we are not here, a Membership Enhancement Coordinator in charge of FUN! and a Web Master to keep our website updated. Please consider filling one of these important positions and helping your chapter continue to meet the needs of it's members. Well if you are still not committed as to which rallies you are going to attend let me recap them for you. Next up is Louisiana District in Lafayette, LA from 31 March - 2 April. Then Chapter O Bluebonnet Rally in Fredericksburg 9 April, always a great day and good BBQ. Kansas District in Hutchinson, KS from April. And don't forget our sister chapter in Louisiana LA-M Mudbugs in DeRidder, LA on 14 May. Then most important is Texas District in our own backyard Temple, TX from May, followed by Arkansas District in Harrison, AR on May. If your looking to visit outside of Region H then Mis- Chapter T souri District in Branson, MO just 30 miles from Harrison AR is on 2-4 June. There is also tons of great riding and lots to see in the Branson area that is well worth the trip. So don't sit at home and say there's nothing to do, check out your bikes, fill up with gas and let's ride. That's what we bought them for I thought. We had a great crowd for our dinner Saturday on 12 March and have set the next date for 30 April, look for the location to be announced. We are also making plans for the ride to Reno Rendezvous in July and Wing Ding in August/September, so if you are interested in either trip please put in your two cents about what you would like to do and let's really travel some miles. We are considering changing our chapter gathering to the first or fourth Tuesday of each month. This will eliminate most of the conflicts with our rally schedule. It will also allow for some of the members who can't make it on the third Thursday to attend our gatherings again. Please if this change would prevent you from attending, contact me immediately at If no objections are voiced this will take effect for our next gathering on April 5th or April 26th, or whenever. We all know that we, me, you, us are the primary element of safe riding. We all know the condition of our equipment is the next main element of safety. I have included in this newsletter a copy of the several safety check lists. Currently we are in Marshall, TX at the Region H Rally and will not be there in person to talk about being safe, please put these lists to use, many of us may have a copy of them but do we have them in the bike or trike or do we put them on the back burner. When you start out from home is not the only time that you should pull the check lists out. Every time you get on your bike you should go over it, within reason, at least every stop that is several hours long. Remember Safety is for Life This should and must be our moto.
