Thanks to all of you who attended our Chapter Christmas party and those who won the $700-$800 in door prizes we hope you enjoy your gifts. Oops, you missed it, make plans to attend this year. Starting off 2016 let me thank all of you who participated in our New Year's Day luncheon and Mid-Winter Roundup on January 9th. Both events went well and were loads of fun. If you missed these this year plan on attending next year. There is still time to make plans to attend the sweetheart weekend with us in Illinois. If you have read this month's Wing World article from Ray and Sandi Garris, you know February 14th has been declared National Co-rider's Day (Valentine's Day). The article thanks and praises our co-riders for their help/ assistance while riding our bikes and trikes. Well, here is our list of rallies to start off our 2016 riding season. Start planning your time off from work and saving your pennies so you can join Alvalin and me in representing Chapter T at these and other events this year. There are many other opportunities to ride that will come up at various times and will be sent out through our Google Groups . Please read all s from the group in their entirety as the subject line may not state all the information that is contained in the main body of . I don't want you to miss something exciting because you over looked the information by simply scanning the subject line and then deleting it. Also lets keep our eye on planning for our big Wing Ding (August 31- September 3) road trip by letting me know if you are interested in going and where we want to wander going and coming from Billings, Montana. Now is the time to make reservations for the upcoming rally season, unless you are like Carleen and I and have already made some of those reservations. It looks to be a great season. Now how do we start? Did you know you have a page in a world wide Data Base? Yes, your very own page, dedicated to only YOU! Your next question is; where is it, and who controls it? First it is a part of the world s largest motorcycle association. Next, your chapter officers can view it. The great thing is you are the only one that can make sure it is up to date and correct! How do I get to see it? I thought you would never ask.well here is how you get to it. go to your web browser; next search for GWRRA.ORG and click on the web address; then on the blue line, under the top banner, Place you curser on the word OFFICERS; you will then see a drop down gray line, move your curser to RIDER EDUCATION and select it: on the left side of your screen, find the blue block that has MY R. E. INFORMATION and select it; you will then see the MEMBER LOGIN; Type in your Username: is you membership number, your password: is the first four letters of your address; and your month/year of you membership expiration date. An example: 220b0918; Click on Submit. This is a Read Only screen; you cannot make any changes from your computer. If changes in your: Address; Phone Number; or your chapter designation, are needed you must call national at: (800) If any other changes are needed, please contact ME, your Chapter Educator, I can make changes happen. How will this help me; and why should I take the time to review my records? Some of you are familiar with the GWRRA Leadership Training Program Personal Training Record or Chapter Life Program card, these will be done away with in the near future and all that information will be tracked in the data base. That is why you will need to look at your personal data base. If you need help accessing the data base, Please call me and I will get with you and help you review your records. I will try to visit our German Goldwing Friends from Braunschweig. If you all remember, on my last trip I took some shirts, hats and other Goodies with me and the Braunschweiger Goldwingers shared it on their Texas Christmas Party. The photo is attached. Everyone said Thank you again! Have all a great gathering and I will see you all in February. I hope you all don t miss me to much! If LeRoy happens to win anything, it is mine! His smile will be missed.
