3 Freedom Flyer Page 3 3 DIRECTOR Butch Araiza Well here it is June already and our meeting is on Father s Day. Planning a ride after the meeting for lunch, don t know where yet but we ll have fun. Quaid s Pre Lost Highway Open House went well I am told by Brandon. Good turn out and thanks to the HOG members who helped. I was not there had a previous commitment. Saw some Pictures of Bishop and it looked like they had a good group and I m sure they had a good time.. The Solvang ride was nice, eighteen people but only 6 on bikes. Had a great time riding and sitting around lying to each other. Saw some pictures of West Coast Thunder and they had a great turn out. It seems to get bigger each year. Thanks to all the LLHOG members that represented us at that event. Our next Chapter event will be in October, for the VETERAN s. We need to out do ourselves this year. We can t do enough for this group of people, Some gave everything for us and all of them went beyond the call of duty. Let s show them what we think of them! In July, we need to move the meeting to the fourth Sunday, because most of the Officers will be out of town on the 19th of July, Meeting will be on the 26th. 4 Freedom Flyer Page 4 Randy 4 TREASURER Well Chapter members it s coming into the 6th month of the year. Time sure flies and it s for us to get into gear for the next 6 months. We have grown with the help of a few key Chapter members for the good of the whole Chapter. Financially our Chapter funds have enabled the LLHOG Chapter to donate to the RIDE for AUTISM 2015,100 % of funds raised. Can you say that you were part of the TEAM or just a by stander content to let someone else do the work. It s hard work but rewarding to know that you were part of the TEAM to be able to donate to a group that is less fortunate than we are. I d like to challenge each and everyone in the LLHOG Chapter to step up and jump in there with your sleeves rolled up to support our Chapter at any of our rides and functions to make LLHOG the best Chapter in the southland. Planning on a Chapter Picnic again soon so let your Officers know what you would like to have and where to have it. How can you do that? Come to the Chapter Meetings and also the E Board meeting, it s open to all. Let s support our neighboring HOG Chapters at their Premier Events so in turn they will support our next Event, for the VETERANS in October We need a lot of help in planning this and it has to begin soon. Make a difference to help us plan and execute this event. That s all for now, not much to say financially since our Bank Account is healthy but our support and volunteers needs all the help we can get. Thanks for the chance to serve you as your Treasurer. The plane was delayed at the start due to some technical problems. Just after takein off, the pilot offered his apologies to the passengers and announced that a round of free drinks would be served. When the charming air-hostess came round with the trolley, the doctor ordered a gin and tonic for himself. The hostess then asked the minister whether he wanted anything. He replied, Oh no, thank you. I would rather commit adultery than drink alcohol.
