3 June Ride Deux and Notes 10 Bikes, 13 Riders HD of Lake Charles for the monthly Ride Deax. Destination decided was Los Mayos Mexican Restaurant in DeRidder. Johnny B led us on a back-road route.171n, left on Sam Houston Jones Parkway in the Bluff, Holbrook Road to 27N for a rest stop in Dequincy. After the break we continued to 398N 109N, back on 27N arriving at Los Mayos just before noon. Light rain encountered in a few spots. Red L, Brian S served as sweeps. Great day to be on two wheels! Remember all Chapter Rides are Closed Rides (bring a friend) 3 of 8

4 The Virginia Ride was executed as scheduled. John/Linda N, David/Lisa C, Scott G, Red L, and myself departed 5 Star of Moss Bluff for 8 days on the road to seek out good roads as far north as Virginia. 4 of 8

5 Out with the Old... We will be ordering some new shirts soon. Please take a look at the new catalog and if there are shirts that might interest you, we would welcome feedback from the group. The order quantities on some of the merchandise will limit our choices. Current t-shirts are on sale for $15 each. While our sizes are limited, you may get lucky and us have your size. $15 is a real steal...so get them before they are gone. 6 July 3 rd They are calling for motorcycles to make a you-tube video to show support for our troops this Sunday at the civic center. Please try and make this to show your support and remember to "Wear Your Colors" I cannot get the flyer to copy over, but anyone and everyone should try to make their way out this Sunday the 3 rd to help with what is obviously a good cause!!!! 6 of 8

7 Ride Trois Remember that July has enough Saturdays for us to have an extra ride. Similar to ride deux s we will meet at the dealership and the memebership that arrive will vote on the destination. Try to bring a friend along and lets build the active membership. 7 of 8

8 PENDING ROAD TRIPS Did you know that Roger has created a page on the website dedicated to 3 day or more trips? You need to him if you have one planned, but the more that we can share the more we can enjoy the road together. There are already a couple of rides listed so go check it out. FACEBOOK PAGE! Most of you know we have a Facebook Page dedicated to LC HOG. Some of you may even have noticed there has been an increase in activities recently. Let's make it more useful. Going for a short run to DeRidder or Jennings or just planning to ride around town? Get on there and let everyone know that you are going and where you are leaving from and when.
