I m sure the weather had something to do with it. The birthday drawing was won by Bernie and also the 50/50. But with only 11 people there, his chances were pretty good. The other scratch offs were won by Pat T., Ted B., Deb T., Gayle H. and Elma. Deb Trask talked about the overnighter. I don t have any more information than that. Ted thought she was looking at the first week in August and someplace around Lake Champlain. More information coming in the months ahead. Don t forget the Spring Fling coming up May 6 th. The flyer is in your newsletter. Try and get your 50/50 tickets sold for the benefit ride in July. Grace is making greeting cards to sell and is donating the money also for the benefits we sponsor. Until next month. Terri There were 17 at Pizzaland for our monthly luncheon. Much better numbers than our last breakfast. But then again, snow storm vs possible thunder showers. Thunder showers always win. The 50/50 winner was Patrick Thomson who also reported that with the ticket money turned in today, we had over $ toward our charity fund drive for July. This doesn t count the change jars. Even if you have sold or bought your original 20 tickets, you are more than welcomed to sell or buy more, and it doesn t have to be 20 tickets. Can be 5, 10, 15, or whatever number you want. So keep on selling or buying. Remember, 5 months left to come up with new Directors and Co-ordinators in order for this club to continue. Ted and I decided to go to the movies and were waiting for the movie to start when the mall lost its power. We waited to see if the lights came back on but decided to get a pass to use at a later date. It was probably a good thing we left when we did, as there were places on our road where water was starting to come across and a tree had come down but someone had removed it.
