Analyze the role of the individual responsibility for safe practices and injury prevention in the home, school, and community. B. Describe and apply strategies for emergency and long-term management of injuries. What knowledge and skills are necessary for individuals to swim safely, and to perform elementary forms of rescues? demonstrate safe personal behavior. demonstrate safe and correct use of equipment. perform circle swimming within a lane with other swimmers. The student will recognize signs of a swimmer in distress. The student will perform the sidestroke for 25 yards.
